let's get real here, barca has been better than us for a little while, to the extent that they started to seriously troll us, and when they won that 5-0 game, it just peaked. THey were making public announcements with that sign. Fair enough they were the better team, but that's where the hostility was born.

Not humility in victory, and they needed to add many layers on top of it. What is unfolding is just a logical course of event. Football is a contact sport, so it gets rough, now barca players are complaining. Why? they should embrace it. You cant mock someone, get punched in the face and then say violence is bad.

I reckon it should go as far it's going at the moment, but a rivalry is supposed to be just that. A rivalry.

we are showing them no respect as opposed to 99% teams in la liga. It's more difficult.

If most were on a mission to beat them as opposed to watch them play, they would have a helluva season.

Yes, thats true. Maybe pique is pointing out the hierarchy of the spanish game is being challenged, which he finds uncomfortable.

Entertainment wise though these games are fantastic.

Dude, that is really pathetic.

Mourinho isn't a fan of 'political correct'. I guess nowadays that is being pathetic. I wish more people said what was on their mind, I hate fakes.

I agree with you there, I don't like the PC world we live in and having to apoligize for everything or tiger and other celebs going to sex rehab because they like to bang hot chicks, so I'm with you there.

BUT, you cannot accuse your rival and the organization who holds one of the biggest and most prestigous football tournamnets (which by the way you have won 10 times and are a staple in) of cheating or a conspiracy with no proof at all. Part of the reason these guys make the obscene amount of money that they do is because they are expected to handle themselves in public like a gentleman and speak as the face of the franchise to the media. It's petty and totally juvenile, not to mention putting your hands on Tito who I have never heard anyone say a bad word about, ever.

Well UEFA cheated madrid out of the cup in 1961 and Barcelona FC as an institution has spread propaganda about us cheating for decades, calling the club facist and nazi (Which really hit our fans numbers)

I mean if it were anyone else making a fool out of themselves like that I don't believe Madrid would stand for it.

Madrid is or I guess used to be a classy institution but now I don't know what they are.

I mean how embarassed must there upper management be that there coach wont even conduct interviews anymore, it's pathetic and they don't need to stand for it.

you do know that r. madrid benefited a lot from the Franco regime, right? I have no respect for a club like that. It's in the past alright, but it's not like they've always been saints. Anything or anyone who has supported any sort of dictatorship is in my black book.

sleeping? you've been getting what, 80+ points per season, you reached the UCL semi-finals last season, won the copa del rey, and you're sleeping giants? just because you can't beat barcelona, the best team in the world? you're not sleeping, you're just not as good.
