El Clasico: The USA Edition
http://www.espnfc.us/international-champions-cup/story/3079080/barcelona-and-real-madrid-to-play-first-clasico-in-us-in-miami-as-part-of-icc
"The first Clasico between Barcelona and Real Madrid to be played on U.S. soil is set for July 29 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami as part of the International Champions Cup.
Barcelona and Real Madrid have met outside Spain only once before in their history: a match in 1982 in Venezuela -- a 1-0 win for Real courtesy of a Vicente del Bosque goal.
The game will be broadcast in the U.S. on ESPN and ESPN Deportes. Tickets will go on sale at the ICC's website on March 20, three days after an exclusive presale.
El Clasico is the biggest match in club football with over 400 million viewers worldwide. The clubs drew 1-1 when they played on Dec. 3 in La Liga, and the next match between the two Spanish giants is scheduled for April 23 at the Bernabeu.
The ICC match at the home of the Miami Dolphins is expected to include two of football's greatest players: current Ballon d'Or-holder Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, the five-time winner of the award."
Thoughts? Who will win? Will ronaldo or messi even play? Will there be fights?

Re: El Clasico: The USA Edition
These summer matches are simply put on for entertainment. The clubs use these games as pre season warmups and for revenue generation. They will play their stars for only part of game, but the level of play let alone intensity is no where close to seasonal games.
If you are going to this game because it is in your part of world, then it's a chance to see your favourite players or team live that you may not otherwise see. Other than that it's just an exhibition that will be sadly lacking the quality you normally would expect.

Re: El Clasico: The USA Edition
i don't know though, brazil, argentina friendlies in usa were very entertaining so this does have potential.
not expecting the players to run their asses off but doubt they'll be happy with a loss.
i'd imagine that players taking part in confederate cup wont take part?

Messi, Marcherano, Neymar, Navas, Marcelo, Casemiro, Danilo and Suarez. Pointless friendly
If you meant the players going to the confed cup, none of this players are going lmao.
You only lose CR, Andre Gomes, Kroos and Ter Stegen(?). Excluding Pepe since it seems he might not be at Madrid anyway.
