Most people remember him for the horrible miss he had on open goal versus u guys, but he has played well last season nonetheless. I saw interviews with some of his teammates 6 months ago, and they said he also was destined for a bigger club.

I just read (from twitter) that journalist & commentator Claudio Zuliani says Cesena's Giaccherini is very close to being the latest Juve signing.

Any news about that?

I do not think that is the real Zuliani, I believe it is a fan group as "his" Youtube channel was.
