Gotze has the potential to be as good as Iniesta IMO and I always believed Iniesta is on the same level as Messi.

Beckenbauer is dead right most of the time I don't want him to play like Messi though, he plays old school Bundesliga footy, physical+technical+very direct+ shooting from everywhere. We had a midfielder like him many years ago, mole knows

Well, in the player of the year voting for the Bundesliga, Sahin got 46% and finished first... Gotze got 19% and finished a distant second. If Gotze was on par with Sahin last year, you would think that their peers would have voted closer to 50/50 since they played on the same team.
Not saying Gotze isn't very good... but Sahin was a masterpiece last year.
