Well, Mario Götze got a short cameo yesterday. Fortunately there is no need to rush him back and risk his health that way.

as good as he is, he won't play a vital role this season and not only because of his constant injuries. there is just no need for him in the starting lineup right now

Bayern bought him because Guardiola wanted Neymar but the board doesn't want to sign SA's unproven in Europe/Buli because of past experiences.

I would also like to add that, I'm not sure what his role will be. Will he play as a RM/LM or CM or False 9? From the matches I saw him play he played as a CM/CAM, in a 4-1-4-1 or he played as a RM or LM. I don't think he has been used in a false 9 role, yet. He did disappoint me though, with his early appearances; before the Ramires injury. They didn't pass the ball to him much and when he did get the ball he lost it quite a few times. He looked out of place in the Guardiola system tbh. However, I think that only had to do with the fact that he was not 100% fit and he was adjusting too a new system and a different position.
