Ibrahim Afellay of Barcelona will not be moving to Serie A side Juventus this summer, his agent has noted.

“My client will certainly stay in Spain,” representative Robert Jansen told calciomercato.it. “He’s happy at Barcelona.

“Have Juventus contacted me? There is no need to respond to this question because there are no doubts about Ibrahim’s future.”

The Dutch international, 25, joined the European champions in January after almost eight years with PSV Eindhoven.

Lazio had also expressed an interest in the winger earlier this summer.
