Couldn't agree more.

I can't wait for him to bang in some goals.

Very keen to see him getting some first team action. He's very hungry for it, and looks eager to get better.

Great talent but needs to work on several areas of his current game if he ever wants to be World Class.

Sturridge had some kalouless moments against Villa, he will struggle to play as a wide man because of his week right foot but hopefully he overcomes this. His decision making needs to improve too.

I am not sold on him as a wide player, but we have to see if he can improve.

"The tricks and flicks have been part of my game, they always have been. The manager has given me licence to express myself. I have never had that before with any manager. He has let me off the leash if you like. He has given me a lot more freedom than I have ever had and I will enjoy my football a lot more.

It is not just me either; everyone feels like that. He wants us to attack and not be too defensive. That is refreshing. The tour has been great. The manager has shown faith in me."

Sturridge doesn't feel fit

I think his one month, 4 days break is actually a blessing in disguise. Really find these Under-something tournaments to be pointless. Young players are not suited to be playing that many games and it tires them. Wil did the best thing and call out.

Plus he will only miss Stoke, West Brom and Norwich. Hardly a disaster.

It's probably a good thing tbh, I read that and a break is just what he needs, TBH I'd give him a week off of training,

He's suspended for 3 games because he got a red card in his final game for Bolton. Direct red card is worth 3 days suspension.

He's having trouble adapting to the right wing position looks like it. No doubt his form will improve during the season, like Villas-Boas said.

I don't think so, he has done well. We need bosingwa to bomb further down the right though, thata probably asking too much though.
