There's a difference between you not wanting him to go and what the club will do......
It's almost certain you will buy 2 forwards which mean's Sturridge would be on his way out he said himself that if he's not going to play he will leave.
Beside's iam aware it wont happen immediately, the article says we want him to sign him on loan with a view to a permanent deal.

I'd certainly like to see Sturridge at Newcastle, but am a bit surprised if Chelsea don't give him a chance after the loan he had at Bolton.

its nice to see newcastle getting back on track..
a historic club with passionate set of fans..

Sturridge will play RF, and we have no else beside him to play there.
@Mole- we are not playing 4-3-1-2 with Torres and Lukaku upfront.
1. Lukaku will be on the bench, he already admitted to this.
2. We don't have the players to play that formation(trequartista is the obvious one)
3. AVB loves the 4-3-3 and he has been practicing that since he arrived at Chelsea, 4-3-1-2 was the obsession of the fired manager.

I agree i was just responding to the Lukuka comment, you will play 4-3-3 with Neymar-Torres-Hulk and Sturridge leaves :geek:
