Good day to Others.
Julian Alvarez, the luckiest player in football history?
He has won almost all the major trophies in the world.
Without being legendary.

Even other legends don't have the same amount of important trophies
as Alvarez one.

Re: the luckiest player in football history
He was decisive in the world cup, for river, and in the city League title (esp considering Haaland was out injured so much). But overall I agree he has more titles than his talents would indicate.

We're around the same age, so these two are really the most notable examples from that era Roque Junior in particular had back to back summers where he won the WC and CL while being by far the weakest link in both lineups.

That's not surprising. As charles barkley says, driving the bus is different than the guy who's the passenger. You're a passenger on a good bus (professional, your coach and teammates like you) you'll stay long enough to win things. A driver on a bad bus might not have the same luxury...but driving the bus is more difficult.
Lol come on now, i liked Karembeu, he was a good player. Roque junior, garbage....but in fairness, that final at old trafford, the man hurt his hamstring and couldn't get subbed out because milan had used all their subs, and he played his heart and soul out in that game on defense. I give him credit for that because i wanted juve to lose after what happened in the semis.
I would categorize a lucky player as someone who contributed nothing...i thought hazard was lucky to leave with a UCL and league medal. Can't say he contributed in training because he was always injured.
Alvarez might not have the talent but he has worked hard and contributes where he can. Sometimes you've got to recognize and respect that. Wouldn't want him on my team, but i respect his contributions.
