Bayern also have a game in hand and assuming they win that its only 4 points off Leverkusen, for they also do face them in Leverkusen in 2 to 3 three games and I see them winning that as well. I can see Bayern eventually edging it even if im 100% team Xabi.

Also will need to see if Lever is matching up nicely vs Bayern but also being this good vs other teams. But 8 points is such a huge gap... Lever would have to collapse Dortmund style now to not win the title.

Waited for so long to post in this thread, didnt want to jinx Bayer, have a soft corner for likes of Dortmund, Leverkusen, Mönchengladbach as I have lived very close these cities and had some friends back then who supported these clubs.

I still think there is a long way to go for Xabi and Bayer, but the current standing confirms that they there will be a sustained challenge from Bayer if they will actually be able to edge it, keeping my fingers crossed.

He was great with Dortmund, but he isnt close to Klopp tier. I would say that maybe he is simply a Emery type manager who's ceiling is BVB/Sevilla/Aston Villa/Villarreal etc.
