Isnt he over achieving by being second though? Cant expect him to catch Inter with what hes got?

Can't say he's overachieving because so far we achieve exactly as i predicted which is nothing. But i think he is getting the maximum amount of points this squad can realistically give. Scudetto is Inter's to lose.

2 remaining Juve fans on GL, Rincon and myself, we always believed in Allegri's work, but this is the minority opinion among the fanbase. Most Juve fans want us to play an open game even if we don't have the ressources to do so

Juve fans are kidding themselves if they think they can play an open game with this squad. Allegri is maximising what they have as the majority of fans seem to think as if they remain a top club whereas they haven't been for well over half a decade.

Calma, half a decade ago we were on our second CL final with Allegri after dominating the knockouts and would go on to win a couple more scudettos.

But yes, there is no getting more points out of this squad than what Allegri is doing. We cannot dominate with these players. We can build on it in the summer though, so I hope the club thinks hard about which coach to continue with next season.

It's amazing to think that we even got our 2 most technical midfielders banned/suspended for the whole season.

Squad needs an upgrade before the coach.

We use a conservative strategy with less than 50% ball possession which is usually the mark of shit teams. The interesting part is that we control the tempo of most games and we got above average goal threats in Chiesa and Vlahovic.

Allegri is being pragmatic, the main strength of this squad is the defensive block, in fact we are quite based and comfortable without the ball. Only turnovers can destabilize it that's why we avoid them as much as possible with long and careful possessions.

Inter 3-0 up at halftime already, looking more and more like proper champions.

There is no doubt. The title was decided after the Roma game. Winning vs us and Juve with both teams in good form sealed the race.

Cristante is such a good penalty taker. Only one who scored for them last year in the EL final on pens.

Mile Svilar has been tremendous for Roma in saving penalties so far, two so far.

And young Zalevski absolutely buries it under pressure to send them into the first round.

Yup I cant say De Rossi hasnt done bad infact the team just seems rejuvenated with his arrival. This is a more attacking Roma and honestly it needed to be after losing Smalling and Ibañez. While I understand what Mou was trying to accomplish it wasnt the right squad to do it with any longer. Roma might not even make the final this time but I do expect a deep run at least.

Cristante is pretty clutch in general, key goals, penalties, defensive moves. His clutchness overcomes his lack of ball skills.

The league is 95% over with our recent bad streak, if Inter wins today against lowly Lecce we'll need a miracle to come back. And sadly i know we'll take it easy once the CL spot is secure.

Yeah the derby wrecked the team. They were so high on the scudetto challenge and being brought back down to earth shattered some of the progress made.

This win should help. Valhovic keeps improving. We are desperate for a tactical shake up though. 3 in front either, with wingers or with a trequartista.
