So what was first to be believed to have been a steal eventually turns out to be a burden; Zinchenko, Jesus

Man City not only know how to recruit but also know when to get rid of players

Jesus would be a wonderful back up. Would definitely buy if it was reasonably priced.

Ferran fecking Torres or Zinfeckingchenko though, need to be looked into. No way any team with title ambitions would buy them as starters.

I'd be wary of any player in that Pep team, see alot of RM fans hyping Alvarez but in reality he's poor mans Rodrygo.

Wouldn't buy a single player from that team bar Haalandwho is out of place in that team anyhow

Your injuries change fuckall mate. You could not beat a Tsimikas Endo defense line.

Literally quoted our best team 2 weeks before this game, you played us with 4 players out. Thiago, Mac, Robbo, Jota, your team would have been wiped.

Average idiotic Arsenal fan comment, scratch not pointing at EG. Has not got 1 thing right in 4 years on this forum about Liverpool or Klopp, still tries to talk.

they improved us, which just goes to show how far down we were... but they're not good enough if we wanna be where we wanna be...

Zinchenko would make a solid/good L8 option, but Arteta doesn't have the vision. Jesus' level is backup striker for a title winning team.

back to back losses to other teams in london

spurs 1 point behind them now, they were never ever srs title contenders, dont have the pedigree as I said...sit down El Gunner. You're not as bad as us obviously but we've got as much a chance of winning the league m8. HUMBLED.

yea fun time is over, the league has caught up to us...
we need a new striker, and a new tactical evolution... but from the sounds of it we're not in for a striker this January, which adds to the frustration.

there are no good strikers available in the market, you either drop 80-100m on an Ivan Toney or take a gamble for a similar amount on a Hojlund

This thing where top English clubs see some mid-table scrub lighting it up for a season or two like Darren Bent or Benteke then they snap them up thinking they will do similar for them, needs to stop.

Statistically that never works out because for one those players are doing so in their prime and naturally will be more inclined for more success in a mid-table club compared to the bigger pressure of a top one. Paired also with they dont have much room to grow beyond their prime. Ivan "racketeering" Toney is no different and will not solve any issue.

Im not getting that subtle jab unless youre implying CRonaldo is a mid-table one season wonder in his prime who also happens to somehow be the top scorer of 2023 whereas Messi's Miami shine has....evaporated...

Taylor be like a yellow for you, you, you, you

Fun game

Liverpool have too many average players. Szoboszlai is a turnover machine. Nunez's finishing is like a teenage Vinicius and they are playing so stressed

Liverpool is doing the maximum with the talent level that they have (which is good frankly, not great).  You have to respect them for that.

They are an elite team defensively with Konate and Van Djik as the two best CBs in the world IMO. Nice to see Van Djik finding his form again (as some mentioned here thus making me watch more games).

I don't know about that

Thought Taylor was tough on Liverpool today. Waved at them to get up when I was sure he'd give a free kick. Gave yellow for the slightest approach apart from VanDijk of course who can be handsy without suffering any consequences.

EG a bit sour after seeing a team not choke at the title race just when they have an advantage, nothing new here.

Not happy with the performance yesterday as NUFC are in terrible form as it is so a win was rather expected and didn't have to be made a mess of it.

Nuñez is absolutely useless. Him yesterday was akin to the cute video of Rooney having his son score on the football field but just wouldn't.
