WTF Var?
That was as clean as penalties get. Probably karma for Wolves game.

Spurs are so bad.
United are not much better though. They press and win the ball well, then nothing.

Antony is so awful, his occasional tricks and flicks make him look even more ridiculous
I honestly hope he gets charged for the good of the team ffs

I'm hoping the rumour of Antony facing a Greenwood esque scandal is true. He is a complete waste of a player tbh.
I was massively against signing him, maguire and sancho. go figure. sign me up ffs.

After spending so much money for so many years, and ending up with a front 3 of Antony, Rashford and Garnacho is downright criminal. Ten Hag is a genius if he can get top 4 or 5 whatever with this dogshit frontline lol.

I honestly don't know if I have the strength to watch the second half, that was torture.

More like preplanned karma. Knew the very moment it went to var that it wouldnt be given after last week. For the amount of scrutiny and coverage it received, to make it 'even', they will be giving a lot more decisions against us in the coming game/games. Have prepared for it mentally and so dont even care anymore.

Our favorite team Real Madrid is playing in a couple minutes, you can switch over to the bright side.

Re: Premier League 2023/24
granted Hojlund is out injured but the exact same problems persist from last season
Mount continues to make zero fucking sense
usual wasteful half and then end up (rightfully losing)
big trouble after 2 games IMO, does not look promising

Re: Premier League 2023/24
wtf was Casemiro doing for the second goal. In slow motion it looked bad but he completely lost the direction of the ball and just didnt do enough imo. Anyways happy to see that ManUtd are as trash as Liverpool in this season as well.

Ten Hag himself spent 430M since he joined United and Antony was his own signing, he is as much to blame, now he's more focused on trying to bring Greenwood back

Re: Premier League 2023/24
United are absolutely cookie dough as i said... their fans need to humble themselves and understand the Fergie era was a once in a lifetime flash in the pan
i hate it that Man City just never seem to lose when you think their might be a chance
2 - 4 years ago you could still bank on their defense flopping here and there, but it seems Pep has also sorted that out

You've been irrelevant for like 15 years mate lmao, one season of being competitive for a while in the league and still ending up with nothing has you thinking you're hot shit. Sit down. Be another nothing season for you as usual.
We'll end up above you, no doubt. First half should have killed the game and denied a clear penalty. Second didn't even turn up. We need another couple signings and lord and saviour Hojlund fit.

Re: Premier League 2023/24
every United fan is saying it now...we can all see the current midfield will never work
most prior to the signing were confused...Mount for 60M...wtf is Ten hag actually on here? just baffling
his insistence to start Antony is gonna be his undoing too IMO, absolutely wank player
need to get in Amrabat/another CM that can actually defend and dictate play

Re: Premier League 2023/24
So it turned out Ten Hag might be just another fraud after all? Love it, let Man U's suffering continue
Man C though dont look all that so far, I mean 2 finals n both went to pens, n this 1-0 win... definitely players out is a factor, but still... cant help but think Grealish is still a question mark... hes not the WC elite type able to make a difference consistently?

Re: Premier League 2023/24
I'm not really sure why some people think they're so much worse off this season, compared to last season. There's no McTominay, Fred, Maguire to blame for their shortcomings.. no Fellaini, CR7 or Sanchez. As usual, their transfers haven't been great, seems strange to me that they never seem to prioritize that part of the club's management. But they've gotten rid of a lot of deadwood over the past few years, and at least slightly upgraded everything other than the striker area in the same process.
They placed 3rd. One could argue that there was some luck involved, and Rashford's red hot form after the world cup helped a lot, but why are people predicting a 6th place finish or below it all of a sudden? It's not like one of their most important players just left the club. Or is it?

Re: Premier League 2023/24
The problem they have is a problem we used to have when we kept firing managers. They haven't got an identity so get players who fit into one coach's idea only to sack that manager and be left with an expensive square peg with the next manager.

I've been saying that for years, feels like I've been beating a dead horse so I've stopped pointing it out. But the manager worshipping among football fans is real, so they can keep repeating that process while the blame is boiled down to the manager every other season.
That aside, it seems a bit strange to me that a lot of people, not only on GL, are confidently predicting an outside the top 5 finish for Man United this season. And they might do, for all I know, I just don't get the impression that the power balance among the top teams in the league has changed so significantly that Man United will suddenly drop outside of the top 5-6.
Then again, Glory seems to think it would be some kind of great achievement if that doesn't happen, so maybe that wouldn't be so bad after all

Re: Premier League 2023/24
Man Utd seem afraid to buy proven quality players with all their money and prestige they could be on par with City
Instead taking risk on Ajax players or splashing 80M for Hojlund who did nothing in his career (so far) very odd transfer strategy for such big/rich club, definitely not the safest way to have success in football.
