Re: Premier League 2023/24
Man Utd seem afraid to buy proven quality players with all their money and prestige they could be on par with City
Instead taking risk on Ajax players or splashing 80M for Hojlund who did nothing in his career (so far) very odd transfer strategy for such big/rich club, definitely not the safest way to have success in football.

They're a poor team @Timothy, quite simple. They lucked their way into 3rd last season coz of jammy wins and draws, and Liverpool and Chelsea having off seasons. Brighton too young and naive sometimes, and Newcastle dropped off towards the end of last season.

yep, this is really what it is - look at me, furious at signing Maguire, furious at signing Sancho, furious at signing Mount (why the fuck did we splash 60m on a player we can't even really fit into the team, Fred is better for what we need ffs) furious at signing Antony
it's just retarded signings consistently, and Mount and Antony are 1000% on Ten Hag.
Chelsea spanked again by a meh team. I said it before, they look meh af on paper despite all the money spent. I don't see them finishing top 4 this season.

Beat you last season and then got robbed in injury time in the other game. Won a trophy, another final reached. Deeper EL run. lol, if we're a poor team what does that make you?

it's not that they are afraid to get top signings, they constantly are linked to top targets like Kane, Osihmen and Kim Mun Jae, but the reality is United don't have the same pull anymore. These players recognise the trainwreck and toxic shitehole that Old Toilet is atm, so why would they wanna go there? Therefore, United have to settle for less.

I've never seen Chelsea so weak, without team play and ideas.....
I can't even name more than 2-3 players from their squad,,,

He is really not running the club in the sense making decisions, is the people he has hired.
I said it last week, this team is seriously lacking in attack.
I have no idea why Poch switched from a formation and 4 atb which all we played in preseason now suddenly 5 at the back as the season start.

Re: Premier League 2023/24
Since i read you guys complaints i just googled Chelsea squad and what the hell only player above 30 years old is Thiago Silva whose in fact closer to his 40s
Feels like they reseted the club and filled the roster with guys from their farm club Vitesse.

Re: Premier League 2023/24
yeah except it cost something like 800 million+ to make lol, in a couple transfer windows
@Blue the market for good attackers that are proven is in the mud, hence we see Bayern uncharacteristically dropping 100m on Kane
I can see you taking up that Juve offer of Lukaku + 40M for Vlahovic tbh, risky as that is
I am surprised you didn't just drop 150M for Osimhen though

@DeviAngel,
So, just to recap, the £105m player missed a penalty and the £115m player gave one away in that WH game. WATTBA to laugh on this

I'd say that's more Chelsea then United. Chelsea have signed plenty of 18-22 year old ranged players, their vetern on the team is 38 year old Thaigo Silva
United still bought Onana, Varane, Casemiro & Eriksen in terms of experience, as far as that I'd say Ten Hag has been the one that has pushed for Mount, Anthony, Hojlund & MartÃnez. Early days for Mount and Hojlund (who hasn't played yet), Martinez has looked some what compentent, but Anthony looks like a lost cause, also his recent case on him with regards to domestic abuse on his spouse, will probably not do him any good either.
Other links for this window is Amrabat & Gravenberch.

Have Arsenal spent 100m on Rice to play such boring football, for the last 10 minutes I have not seen anything happening in this game . Not sure if they are intentionally playing this way against Palace

Rice isn't an attacking player, he's doing his job quite well actually, best player of the half, but yes the football is boring and it's more to do with Arteta's galaxy-brained experimenting, that's clearly more likely to backfire. Like why is he ostracising Gabriel now. When Gabriel eventually needs to come back into the team, he's gunna be off pace and make mistakes, and then fans will say again he is not good enough.
Havertz is useless in that 8 position. Either play him up top, or don't at all. What makes it even more criminal is having a player of Trossard's quality on the bench in favour of Nketiah and Havertz. Despicable.

Nketiah won two fouls for his team !
Havertz carries that German Autobahn tax but he would have improved leaps and bounds under someone like Klopp
