Its only Man U's fault they paid record fee for Maguire XD Dunno how it exactly works but why hasnt this "7M" lost wages issue came up in any other transfers? Im guessing it should be part of standard deals, so either normally player n club agree to give it up or pay it to the player at full or discount or whatever? Clearly its either MAn U being cheap or Maguire being cheap? Unless the buying club needs to pay that as well?

I think it would be best for Maguire to leave Man U. He’s currently 5th choice centre-back there, and struggling with form and confidence. He might not even be picked for the Euro 2024 squad at this rate. So I’m surprised he didn’t go to West Ham to rediscover his form and confidence.
