I think we are just in another space mentally. Might not always look fun, but u need like a 3 nil scoreline to consider urself safe against us. And even then you still never know. I honestly was never worried after the mishap nor even the second. The mentality is just too tough

Well, this was lovely to witness, don't mind Pool really isn't in the best of forms this season.

Still though, lovely match and the intensity in that first half was legit. Also, Valverde came back into some semblance of form at the rightest of time and I think I gave Cama enough credit for being a fine midfielder in the making.

I really thought Pool and Klopp would have focused on giving Dani are rough time on the right but nah, nothing. Well, barely anything worth mentioning or remembering.

Anyway, as this is Madrid, the tie is still open (yes, I am dead serious about this statement) so we'll see which version of Madrid shows up.

Liverpool are dreadful this season, this was very predictable. Nice comeback after being 2 goals down though, love to see it.

It is embarrassing that they lost 5-2 at home as that in itself, is embarrassing. To say it should be on the same rank with losing to Brighton or Wolves, no. Not at all.

I’ve realized we won’t get our credit as champions and a top team. It’s always luck or something else. Suffering from success.

Felt like we took full advantage of Liverpool’s right side. Gomez was a walking disaster as well. Pool seriously need to revamp or bring competition to the defense

Tbh we were worse in that covid season and beat them then too. Klopp's stubbornness is his own undoing. You can't play Salah-Trent against Vini. I mean look at the LaLiga teams ganging up on him, that's how you stop him. You stop him and you stop RM. Absolutely terrible tactics from Klopp. Like a newbie, how are heads not turning at Liverpool

Great CL performance from Real again, they just have the believe n experience as always, n opponents just seem to panic n dont know how to react when Real get going wtf...

Liverpool lost Mane n still not replacing him lol, on the other hand Real went n got young Vini n how its paying off for this era ffs... Yep playing TAA vs Vini again is pretty much suicide n with all the help around him Vini still had it quite easy.... it really is strange though how Real can turn it on whenever in the CL, but still struggle in the league vs scrub teams

The secret is in the effort, guys who normally jog back when defending bust their asses in the CL. And also our inability to open up PTB teams. Also Spanish teams dare us to create from the right and we can't because we don't have good RWs.

Usually this would be decided in the 2nd leg, but Madrid somehow turned it around and put it to bed in the second half. That is admirable and gotta give credit where it's due, incredible clutchness and resolve

Its the end of the era at Liverpool. Majority of their core players arent up to it anymore. At this point, pool fans should be happy the squad won the EPL and UCL during their peak.

Time for them to transition. Perhaps Bellingham will be the spark they need.
