WHICH TWO TEAM WILL PROGRESS ?
Re: Champions League 2022/23 | Group H
With a bit more lucidity in final third we can win this match. We are so impatient to move forward it screws us, Benfica are in better physical shape but their defending is not impressive.
Klumsic and Cuadrado need to wake up

Re: Champions League 2022/23 | Group H
The state of our team.
We need like a 3 month break for everyone to come back and train physically and tactically. A reset. This season started in crisis and the crisis snowballs. Maybe the world cup break can be a small respite.
Chiesa, Pogba, Di Maria, Locatelli, Rabiot, Szczesny all injured. Cuadrado and Kostic exhausted. McKennie playing at all is a tragedy. It puts too much responsibility on Miretti as an inexperienced teenager to have to take the reigns every match.
Paredes and Milik at least hit the ground running. Bremer needs a bit of time and Vlahovic needs service.
Perin and Danilo are out there performing miracles to try to keep the team afloat.
Allegri doesn't have a solution, at least not short term.
On top of that we have points taken by the most absurd VAR mistake to date and the most penalties conceded in italy.

Is Allegri time nearing the end? Or will they stick with him due to the injuries?

Definitely Juve wont fire Allegri under these circumstances. If just half of those injured come back they should be a completely difference level team. Benfica are no scrubs either...

Re: Champions League 2022/23 | Group H
Haaland is scoring goals, but I definitely feel like City are either limiting his influence on games by having him comply to Pep's idea of an effective team, or are still in the process of adapting to having him on the team. Aside from 2 of his goals, most of his runs in behind defenses have been ignored up until now, and he seems to have transitioned to having more static movement in and around the box, which is assume is what he's been instructed to do.
Hans probably predicted this, but I had a little bit of hope that City would change their playing style more to compliment his strengths related to athleticism and movement, rather than him becoming more of a fox in the box and the rest of the team getting used to having an out and out striker at all. I suppose no one cares as long as he scores, but it's a bit frustrating to watch how restricted he is in this setup.

Re: Champions League 2022/23 | Group H
We need results very soon. I defend Allegri a lot and even yesterday we came out strong then gradually faded to a parody of football in second half. We concede goals through individual mistakes, a bad tackle by Miretti (tbf the Benfica guy just magically appeared under his boot) and Bonucci caught sleeping which lead to the second goal.
Hopefully we wait until we have an healthier squad than that to give Allegri a chance to coach the real Juve team. But maybe by then the bond is broken with the players/management and i would not rule out a panic move sacking him. It cannot be ignored that Allegri produced atrocious football for 1 full year and our league record is unacceptable.

CL knockouts will be a feast for him as they always end up being end-to-end as much as Pep wants to control everything.

Rabiot has been great all season as weird as it is to say. The team played well for most of the match, then got cocky and stopped playing for the last 15 min.

PSG currently leading the group with 6th tiebraker with a goal.
1. Points in head-to-head matches among the tied teams;
2. Goal difference in head-to-head matches among the tied teams;
3. Goals scored in head-to-head matches among the tied teams;
4. If more than two teams are tied, and after applying all head-to-head criteria above, a subset of teams are still tied, all head-to-head criteria above are reapplied exclusively to this subset of teams;
5. Goal difference in all group matches;
6. Goals scored in all group matches;
