Barcelona selling their club and activating 10 economic levers to sign a wannabe from Serie Zz, a 34 year old Bundesfodders retiree and a mid table EPL donkey. And drawing to Rayo at Spotify Camp Laughing

Well, not the best performance at all from Barca but Rayo was good today. Should have won it too but I really can't expect that level of clinical quality from Rayo.

All in all, the Villareal match was a bit better.

No surprise @ barca game considering it was Rayo. They were fortunate to not lose the game.

In that regard, xavi has done well. Still too soon to say whether xavi is up to the task or not but... time will tell.

Hopefully madrid's match will be a more positive football game.

Tbh Rayo is a tough team to beat along with Osasuna, Betis and Villarreal. So not surprised Barca flopped. They'll play Sevilla soon who'll open up the floodgates for them

This games shows exactly why ppl need to calm with Barca, we still kinda suck Very Happy

Christensen n Eric looks a defensive disaster waiting to happen, just a matter of time... its depressing becos it show Xavi continues to love Eric for some reason. Ferran has fallen out of favour it seems which is great, but fact that Eric is a starter still, but Roberto still features n does nothing usual is very worrying. At least with Xavi we look good at pressing n winning the ball so we dont have to defend as much otherwise it will be a disaster to watch every game XD

Kessie looks like a scrub. Raphinha is decent but not elite. Busquets aging, n resorting to more n more fouls to compete, hence the two yellows to send off, so no surprises there. Same goes with Alba, less n less pace. Then we got the RB problem, Araujo offers nothing going forward there, so he really be in CB n we need proper RB, unfortunately Xavi dont wanna play Dest instead, but anyone can see thats a problem.

We NEED TO KEEP De Jong. He brings so much to our game n he can fill in for Busquets, but he also adds a lot going forward linking up in the center n all around, makes runs, dribbles the ball, can play in CB, so too many to name n hes just good all round player.

Positives I guess Lewand n Fati looks good, Auba when he came on.... Ter Stegen looked good... not much else Razz

This was at home vs a decent team but one without that much threat, n we struggle to create already. Two points dropped, ie. can already forget about the league title cos Benz n Vini are on fire Very Happy So yea, ppl need to calm down, there is still many issues to work on.

Wonder if Pjanic or De Jong will play of cos I prefer the latter at DM with Busquets out... no fuking Sergi Roberto pls XD

You better hope that these signings work out because there isn’t any transfer money next year and likely for foreseeable future and there isn’t any more future earnings to sell!

He was actually late with his late tackle (believe it or not) and only connected with his knee.

Painful tackle obviously but yellow is fair.

Hes improved a lot n changed in terms of work rate n mentality. Although decision making n final products still not great n consistent. I really hope it works out for him n u can see hes really trying his best. The new signings putting pressure on him is also great. Needs to keep improving though...

Its not impossible. If all these economics levers gamble dont pay off, Barca will really be in a down cycle for yrs as we predicted when it all imploded last summer. Thats how many top clubs in the past fell into one for yrs before recovering... worst case scenario...

I don't actually think he did anything special in the PL besides being a decent player for a midtable team. No idea why Barca thought they had to throw all this money at him.

A bit reactionary but ok. We werent 4-0 down within 30 minutes.

Raphinha was ok, better than Dembele. Needs time to settle and I prefer him on RW but they keep switching throughout the game which maybe throws him off a little and needs to get used to it.

The massive red flag that was waiving in the middle of the field, a big red light is none other than Busquets... what a terrible performance. This man is on his last legs, and he got a red card because he's always late to the challenge. ALWAYS, he seemed much slower than last season even. Xavi can't keep playing him.

If we dont get B.Silva this week we're not cooking, we're cooked. Hope Frenkie takes the paycut aswell and stays, I see Kessie at DM instead of Busi Pussi, he's got the qualities. Just keep Bus far away from the XI, play Pjanić if ya have to Xavi ya mad bastard.

He tends to have these sporadic good games sprinkled with some bad ones. I didn't watch the Valladolid game but Emery did say he'd leave if a good offer came in. Emery is not the guy to develop young talented players. When Villarreal buys LoCelso Pino will have difficulties getting into the team.

Lol, i guess you haven’t heard about how bad shape the stadium is in! Maintenance has been ignored and it is crumpling! A massive investment is required to resolve situation and there are literally no investment funds available in foreseeable future!
