Bet the country bails them out if Spain/Portugal win the bid to host the WC

We still got Camp Nou dont we? How hard is it to turn a stadium into a marriage hall after all.
Lol, i guess you haven’t heard about how bad shape the stadium is in! Maintenance has been ignored and it is crumpling! A massive investment is required to resolve situation and there are literally no investment funds available in foreseeable future!
Lies! The rebuild of the stadium is already planned and budgeted

Where did you see budgeted? It was proposed, with a comment where do get the funding for it! And that was before all these economic levers were pursued!
You are so insistent on every tweet etc that comes out about Barca interests yet you are either oblivious or ignorant of finances! Your club is struggling with possible bankruptcy and you don’t give a shit, just give me a competitive team this year and hope things improve next year? Typical cule!

I don't actually think he did anything special in the PL besides being a decent player for a midtable team. No idea why Barca thought they had to throw all this money at him.
Are you a Leeds follower?I hadn't even heard of him before he was suddenly linked to Barca and Chelsea.
There was a story from serious Brazil media last winter (well, our winter, their summer) who claimed Bayern had bought him, done dealio, for 50m. Was of course nonsense but it led me to pay attention.

The renovation work is already planned and we will play at Montjuic next season
This was approved like 6 months ago iirc so laporta already knew the financial situation

Re: EA Sports La Liga 2022/23
Ok I apologize, I hadn’t noticed this for past year! I do see that Goldman Sachs has provided a loan of 595M, to be paid back over a 35 year period. However the cost is projected at 1.3B, so I would think there will be issues, plus the fact that no project of this magnitude rarely complete on time nor with initial budget.
When you look at all the future income that has been sold off for next 25 years and this debt repayment over 35 years, it’s a pretty dire forward looking financial picture. And where do they get the rest of 700M+ stadium funding?
Still leads me to conclude you better hope the restocking signees work out, as the next several years will have little funding for future acquisitions.

Carlo with a host of rotations. Let's see if Tcho is less jittery now than in the preseason.
No Asensio or Hazard again after playing no minutes and Frankfurt. I am happy

Re: EA Sports La Liga 2022/23
^ I'm genuinely curious as to why Carlo has so far refused to slot Alaba back in his natural LB position and partner Rudiger with Militao.
At first I thought he's just experimenting and trying different things, but I'm starting to think now that he has no intention of moving Alaba back to LB. Such a shame, especially when you now have a proper CB to rely on.

This is the third freekick he's scored now out of like 6 or so. Pretty impressive

Thank you very much for Kroos and Alaba btw. Feel like we still owe your club way more than was paid.

I think it all works out tbh
We get fleeced by some Bundesfodder club. Bayern get their playere free or peanuts. It's only fair that we get compensated by getting Bayern players for the cheap

I just love how the usual suspects are quiet when we triumph.
Don't worry. There will always be next time~
La Liga sure came out swinging today. Can't wait to see how pathetico will do.
I reckon I will pay more attention to Villarreal and Valencia this season. Only real shocker so far is Sevilla. What happened there?

Nothing new to see here, Celta at home always makes us suffer.

Re: EA Sports La Liga 2022/23
Stinging counter attacks, legit overpowering with our physicality and Benz being a darling and letting Hazard take a PK. Yup, good win.
Cama and Tchou would be fine as a midfield pair, just need time. Mendy is going to give Hala an aneurism tbh.

Re: EA Sports La Liga 2022/23
Our games against Celta are always fun. They've got some really technical players. Good test for our young midfield and they passed the test
Tcho should give Mendy a slap after the game. Some downright awful hospital balls. We can't play out from the back on the left because Mendy is the least technical player i have seen since prime Khedira and puts unnecessary pressure on our other players. Played well in defence though

Aspas is a Celta legend and would/should be considered a La Liga legend but it does suck he failed at Liverpool.
With all that being said, tomorrow's matches look really good.

Cama and Tchou looked a bit like giants vs that Celta midfield... ffs, Real's got some big guys even after Casrmiro goes... can see them continue to dominate, especially with Modric still elite, Benz n Vini having fun every game...

He ain't got anything. Mentally weak, loses the ball under pressure consistently, awful first touch, can't beat his man. At his best he is a mediocre poacher.Firenze wrote:still cant wrap my head around Ferran Torres for 55M, proper wank player
