Can't wait for this one
Another 7 goal thriller like yesterday, but hopefully a better GD in Liverpool's favor

Díaz has the Klopp DNA. Has fit into Liverpool like he's been playing there since the beginning of times.

Huge difference in levels... how is it a team like this containing Spurs rejects, old Parejo, scrub forwards beat Bayern n got into the semi is beyond me
Go Liverpool~! Man C v Liverpool final~ Think I'll be neutral would be happy any one of them win... although preferably Man C since they havent n Pep need one after so many failures post Barca...

Great run by Villarreal. Unfortunately it ends here.

A 3-0 will be good and some rest for Trent.

Good ebening, will be interesting how Emery shapes up in the return leg now after this disaster class. The first goal is key in the next tie.

It's basically HT as far as the tie is concerned.

yep Villarreal are done.

Liverpool are as strong as ever.
A shame about Villarreal but a semi finish is as good as it gets for them.

I get the feeling Klopp may rue Liverpool not getting that 3rd goal purely for security, but keeping a clean sheet certainly helps. Villarreal really needed a goal to take home with them. That would've given them more confidence beyond just holding Liverpool to 2 goals here.
For me, they're not quite out of this yet. There's still a chance albeit an extremely slim one.

About same fee as Ferran, now this comparison stings and shows proper scouting in todays market is paramount.

I was shocked they could sign him for that much. He's been playing well for a long time. I don't claim to watch Porto but watch Colombia regularly and he always impressed. Not sure why he had gone unnoticed with scouts. Maybe cause his agent is not some douchebag called Raiola.Myesyats wrote:danyjr wrote:Díaz has the Klopp DNA. Not sure what the hype around Pau Torres is, his passing is dreadful, he's slow af and he barely puts his foot in. Yet you know he's City bound with a 50m+ price tag.

Similar to Lenglet, Diego Carlos, Lapoete. Overrated La Liga CBs who can't defend but get lauded because they can pass.Kaladin wrote:Not sure what the hype around Pau Torres is, his passing is dreadful, he's slow af and he barely puts his foot in. Yet you know he's City bound with a 50m+ price tag.

Love Klopp's recruitment but he flopped hard with Keïta. Absolute scrub.
