Throwback to the days when I'd play MT and we would have 50% vs 50% possession with +90% pass accuracy each. Fifa version of Barca vs Spain.

Though MT was all about passing the ball into the net. I was about lobbing the ball from Alonso to a free Robben on the right since EA's lofted ball and narrow defending mechanics were broken. Good times.

It's made for tiki taka. But the passing issue still exists and always has lol. Retarded AI will never be fixed

Lol me & Tom were talking about those sessions in 13 or 14 where everyone was on clubs with you and some other GL Milan fan playing CB

I think it was Baresi? I'm not sure though. All I remember was playing as a false CB. I'd break the defensive line by defending deep to do some hero ball 1v1 defending which didn't work out half the time.

Not really lol. I might have played a few times, but I don't remember how any of the games went.

When I wasn't playing clubs I mostly remember playing 1v1 against MT or co-op with Tom.

This is what happened when a gk had the nerve to collect the ball and deny the legendary Romano from scoring.

Brought Fifa 22 for PS4. Only play career mode and half way through the season. First Fifa since 19.

What is the point of midfielders. They never track the opposition. Coupled with CBs that let the AI attackers turn and shoot, half my games I end up just waiting for the AI to shoot off target to get the ball back.

I did end up being able to buy Goretzka for Elneny + 90k so that was nice.

not enough gameplay to really judge

the CR7 being an ambassador was awkward to watch but a big boon for them

I have my doubts about this, and that upcoming Goals game, because of the fact iirc theyre trying to implement mobile crossplay

be nice to see a legit competitor to rise up and give an alternative to FIFA, but if it happens expect Fifa to go F2P and crush these guys in the process

I bought the game for PC when it was on sale for 25€. I've played both Ultimate Team and Career Mode and while the former works mostly fine, playing against the AI doesn't feel like football.

Indeed your midfielders don't do much defensively, but what is worse, imo, is that build-up play isn't really a thing. The AI pressures you aggressively and I find that oftentimes you're better off passing it long (on the ground) from defenders straight to your striker(s), because for whatever reason those passes don't get intercepted as easily as passes to your midfielders. The AI puts much more pressure on your back line and midfield than your strikers.

Skill moves feel nearly useless against the AI and slower build-up play doesn't get you anywhere. You're much better off running through the pitch at full speed before attempting a through-ball to create a scoring opportunity. That's fine for online game play, but it doesn't feel like real football if you're trying to enjoy some Career Mode against the AI.

PC version sucks. I have been playing it on PS5 and can't touch the PC version any more. The mechanics are so different.

Bought Fifa like 3 weeks ago ffs. Better and slightly slower than last year although there is still a total lack of realism online. Also there are so many cards it's not even fun anymore to open packs.

FIFA wanted that MTX money and EA ditched the license in response.

I hope we can get more companies to make football games.

Does it affect league and club licenses ?
