Legacy
Legacy
One is going back to play in the strongest league in the world and arguably the strongest league in history, while the other, having robbed the club that not only gave him his height, but also made him who he is, is going to the 6th best league in Europe to play super friends.
What Lionel Messi did to Barcelona, I would not even do to my worst enemy. Not only did he rob Barcelona, he also robbed El Kommander of the multiple Ballon D'Ors. This year is about a correction of past ills, a sealing of legacy, a reset of what we all believed was set in football.
One is going to be playing strong teams every week while the other is going to be playing in an all-star team that plays against part time footballers and school teachers.
We all know that the world is rigged against El Kommander. Against all odds, he led Portugal to the final. Even after getting injured, he coached the team to win the EUROS. Eder even said that EL Kommander told him the minute he would score. How did football respond to this glitch in the matrix? Like when Agents are sent to defeat Neo, they kept gifting 'the thief' one Copa America's every other year till he finally won a covid ravaged tournament. Just know, your hate makes him stronger.
Thank you El Kommander, for showing us that the best path is not always the easiest path. Even as the the dying embers of your career fade away, you still manage to reignite it to inspire millions.
Thank you, El Kommander for continuing to be the beacon of hope to millions.

Re: Legacy
Ronaldo’s Juventus legacy is going to be losing the capocanniere to Fabio Quagliarella and Ciro Immobile, getting knocked out in the Champions League by Ajax, Lyon and Porto, scoring 30 penalties, losing a 9 year scudetto dynasty to Inter and then forcing Juventus to sell him

Juventus’ all-time top goalscorers in a single season (all competitive matches):
1 - Cristiano Ronaldo - 2019–20 - 37 goals
2 - Cristiano Ronaldo - 2020–21 - 36 goals
That's quite the individual legacy for someone who played just 3 years at the club.

Juventus manager Max Allegri confirms that Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave the club amidst links to a move to Manchester City:

Just look at how fast he dipped

My most proper opinion on it has been written on Serie A thread
Robespierre wrote:Ronaldo as player hasn't failed, he's scored 101 goals in 3 years and at the end he went at United for money . Despite salary , age and next year's free agent . It proves as he's still an important player.
The failure is about the operation made by Juventus , basically because Juve deteriorated from all points of view in these three years.
