What a bizarre match. We were playing well i hope to not lose focus. At least everybody gives an effort this first half, maybe a bit too much from Cuadrado (wtf did he do) and Dybala also injured after jumping it seems

That was On Bonucci, not Perin.

Perin had just made a good save before the corner, then Yoshida slipped past Bonucci and left Perin no chance.

I was writing that Szczesny would probably let that shot in, the one that led to the corner

That cross froze everybody, i'm not mad, as far as i'm concerned the 1st gk role is now Perin's to lose

Agreed. Its a normal goal to concede, but given how we concede every game (more stupid goals) its frustrating

These young players are more hungry, theyvwant to make everything happen. Far cry from Bentancur, Rabiot, Szczesny, and Alex Sandro mostly being passengers

Locatelli was in the weeds before that goal. Against Ekdal there is only so much one can do but now he's subbed out.

Bentancur a nice surprise to see him play football

I love the movement by the clumsy bunch Morata, Chiesa, Kulu, Berna they bring speed and grit. If they can build chemistry this season we will score many goals.

So action wasn't valid anymore.

Curiosity : I was already so mad for penalty missed by Dimarco, Inter concede 2-3 immediately and so I close my Dazn on PC.
I come back after 2 mins  and I read 2-2 . Good surprise at least

but hans, ref later admitted after VAR check that it should have been out of bounds in first place. i think it was a valid appeal from inter players, it was just unfortunate for Atalanta. but sometimes even VAR misses things like that it could have gone the other way with Atalanta win and probably a different discussion would have taken place

You both don't understand the point. I'm not arguing whether or not the ball was out.
I'm arguing whether or not VAR should intervene here to nullify the goal.

VAR doesn't intervene in all kinds of situations. In fact, VAR only rarely ever intervenes. It certainly doesn't intervene just because a ball is questionably byond or not beyond the out line.

The fact that the ref let play continue instead of giving a corner was a decision wrongly made in Inter's favor.
Why should VAR intervene afterwards to correct this decision to nullify a goal, again in Inter's favour?

Do you understand the point I'm making here? That's why I used the word 'advantage', as an analogy to the advantage rule where a referee is supposed to let play go on despite foul to not deprive the wronged team of further advantage.
Shouldn't there be an 'advantage' rule when it comes to VAR intervention?

VAR rules are new, they are not set as precendent.

And it's not enough to just point out to the rule that a ball that is out means play is interrupted.
We are not talking about that. Because, again, play way not interrupted.
We are talking about the rule when and under what condition VAR is supposed to intervene and bring an action back.

Try to think a bit harder.

This is how VAR has been implemented in serie a from day 1. One of the first uses was in fact disallowing a goal that Juve scored after a similar situation.

Daniel Maldini looks like a Serie C level player every time I see him. I don't think he's got the juice to make it at this level.

I mean his goal was a nice moment for Milan fans because of his family, but if he's our backup #10 then I will not be pleased.
