tough win. milan poor in majority of the game, Spezia were the ones who were likely to win if not for their two clear cut misses in second half.
one thing for sure, is that milan doesnt know how to manage game, and no top club would defend 1-0 lead.
their sense of urgency is what in the end won the game thanks to diaz. meanwhile daniel lol ... after scoring goal he was all smiles the rest of the game and hardly played XD

anyway ugly win. Spezia deserved more

Now I am sure you are just downplaying Milan intentionally Laughing

18 shots to Spezia's 8.

64% possession.

Basically dominated them for most of the match, and had several chances ping-ponging in their box without a decesive touch. We had three chances similar to the Diaz chance we scored at the end.

Leao basically bullied their right side and did what he wanted with it, except score a bloody goal that is.

From the number of chances we wasted, I knew Spezia would score with one of the few they will get, but they wouldn't have deserved shit from this match.

Compare that to the absolute dominant performance against us in the beginning of the year.

Also, Maldini was subbed around 10 minutes after he scored since he managed to get a yellow.

Goalmaker is improving this season, love to see it

This was a dirty win with a heap of young players giving the main team a rest.

Need to show up against Atleti on Tuesday, the cunts lost today. We really need Giroud to slay them as he usually does.

The good thing is, Atleti are nowhere near as the press monsters Liverpool are. Though, i can see us trying to crack their defense over 90 mins to no avail.

yea but Spezia had clear cut chances but they failed in finishing ... more than few occasion they were close to scoring goals. milan had plenty of counterattack and they just go back to getting the ball passed back it was frustating to see esp with just marginal lead .

leao though was easily best player he just was totally different player today involved in every important counterattack and threat on goal.

Calcio Saga 21/22 - Page 21 1f600 i try to be honest lol, actually i was more worried that spezia was going to win this because after levelling they were still the likely team to score first.

Barella omg insane involvement everywhere on pitch, defending, transition, attack on final third... more than calhanoglu.
not since like steven gerrard have i witnessed this amount of involvement in the game, barella play is reminiscent of gerrard

Atalanta 3-2

Handanovic really is horrible, and on the eve of Onana being touted as a replacement

We have Atalanta next week, i would've preferred an Inter win if push came to shove

Dzeko could've sealed it at the end there

But Inter are not lacking in chances or the goalfront, their issue lies with conceding. Handanovic is sunsetting this year, has to be replaced.

ye i have to admit ... even as a handanovic fan ...
its sad to see player at his height of the game he was the one day in day out saving inter when their defense was atrocious long ago and now he is on the receiving end ... sad

u guys are so lucky to have him ... calhanoglu apart from spreading ball was not involved in final third ... brozovic normally is the transition guy he wasnt involved ... barella was just single handedly doing those two duty and more ....

was a gerrard like performance

Inter and Juve are about the same, with Napoli a smidge behind. Milan is not even close, honestly

The question was about squad quality, not about who is performing better, but it looks like it was too much for you to comprehend. No surprises here

Robespierre wrote:@adun101 you were right about Sensi during his most hyped days, incredibile pecho frio and so injury prone from being a bidone. Wasted 20 mln.

Well, I was referring to his lack of athleticism being an impediment to performing at high levels, I wasn't talking about his injury woes. Thanks anyway Wink

rincon wrote:Sensi is your Ramsey, talented but can't depend on the player

Nah, when both healthy, Sensi is not even half the player that Ramsey is

That match was great.

So far, it looks like it's going to be Atalanta, Inter and Napoli for the title and Milan the favorites for 4th.

2 things

1.
Who the hell is "Di Marco" and why is he taking penalties for Inter?"

2.
Handanovich scrambling to keep a backpass from going out to a corner, then a goal comes from that only to be taken back by VAR?
Doesn't seem right, in fact seems infuriatingly wrong - shouldn't that rather be a case of "advantage" played?
