There is a reason we let him go. He is not a bad keeper by any means, but he is just very very inconsistent and he never improved on his weak points. He is too arrogant and thinks he is better than he actually is.

He had similar phase with us towards the end of his arsenal career where he was losing us points. He isn't normally this bad ( as juve fans know because he was great in first 3 years) but he just has a cycle. He will go to a new club and be amazing again for 2-3 years.

ok Vlahovic is impressive, he improves in every match, destined to being best CF of the league

I've heard his interview and his Italian language is so fluent.
I feel always weird when I see Slavic speak Italian better than Cassano , Verratti or Di Natale Laughing

it's why Slavic languages have lot of variety of sounds and are a good starting point for learning the phonetics of other languages.

Not by chance Sczezsny and Zielinki speak perfect Italian too

Matches after NT breaks are very insidious anyway
Tired players, South American players who can't play (Juve played without Cuadrado, his best player now, and Dybala..)
Very worried for Inter match tomorrow against Sampdoria, Lautaro and Correa won't play for reasons above and Bastoni got injured
Three big absences ,  for an away match that causes one of few losses to Inter last year

It's weird sometimes here too. Odegaard speaks better English than the likes of Rooney and Kane

Szczesny's mistakes have us out of the title race already, Perin must be tried. With the return of the South Americans and Chiesa I hope McKennie is relegated to 4th choice in midfield as well.

We have
Malmo
Milan
Spezia
Sampdoria
Chelsea
Torino

And now every match is a must win. Particularly worried for Milan in this form we are.

He is awful for NT too, it's beyond me how he keeps starting for both club and country in 2021

Jjuve fans literally couldn;'t stop singing his praises 2/3 seasons ago

Because 2-3 seasons ago he was the best keeper in the league hmm

About the match itself, i missed it, highlights don't show much. Any encouraging signs or just a shit match where Szczesny screws us but we never had a chance ??

Dimarco with a freekick goal, a very nice one as well.

I was rather surprised to see him take some set pieces after coming off the bench, ahead of Calhanoglu.

Inzaghi's faith in him was not misplaced.

Imagine Juventus right now if Marrotta never left

Donnarumma
Hakimi - De Vrij - De Ligt - Sandro
Barella - Locatelli - Arthur
Dybala - CR7 - Chiesa

Though Marrotta was against Ronaldo I think,, maybe he would have finished of those Haaland negotiations hmm

In his year at Roma and in his first three years at Juve was great .  Prime of his career ( never been so relevant at Arsenal).
First negative signals last year , in 2nd half of season, everything seems born from that Porto goal that eliminates Juve ( he could do better on that shot ). After it, I remember other mistakes as in Torino derby ( match will finish 2-2 , so decisive ).
This beginning of year was tragic. In these 3 matches he made 3 serious mistakes . He looks like in crisis.
2nd Juve GK is Perin who 's declined seriously too, he wasn't good in his return at Genoa so it's another problem for Juve...
I am not surprised to read about it on his Poland performance.
I remember that Euro hosted from Poland where he was terrible, and also in last WC .... In short, he's been often weakness in NT tournament when he should have been contrary.
Indeed , if I remember correctly, Fabianski has played sometimes as starter for Poland.

Yep I personally always preferred Fabianski, he used to compete with Szczesny (and Boruc) for the spot under the previous coach. I don't know the complete behind-the-scenes story but, for some reason, the new manager Paulo Sousa told Fabianski that he won't be #1 and then Fabianski decided to retire from NT.

So now we're basically stuck with Szczesny, the others are very young or/and unprepared.

Dragowski is decent, what's your opinion on him if you've seen him play for Fiorentina?

Ah true Dragowski is Polish
Yes he is good, one of few Fiorentina players to not having played badly in these last 2 years , destined to a better club probably
I had read about Borussia Dortmund interest towards him
Atm he doesn't play because he 's injured
Better than Skorpuski (the Bologna Gk, my GK on Fantasy game tbf I wasn't able to sign better in that auction with friends. Nothing against him but his main problem is to play for a club with terrible defensive phase due to Mihajlovic), he's good for Bologna but that is his definite level

Yes it was odd timing that he "resigned" few months after signing Ronaldo

Then Paratici came to replace and he was a careless spender. Basically Agnelli's puppets, him and Nedved

I'm not sure Marotta would break the bank for De Ligt and no need the for the shady swap Arthur-Pjanic. He would also have some crap contracts to get rid of, contracts that HE signed, not Paratici. Surely our last 3 years would have been completely different in fact, i think the probability is very high that we'd have more success with him in charge. From his Inter deals i bet Hakimi and Barella would be Juve players, maybe even Sanchez or Vidal.

We weren't going to lose that match outside of two errors by Sczesny and Kean. The first half was very good.

Tactically, we lost it when Pellegrini got injured and De Ligt had to come on as a third CB since no fullbacks were available. It neutralized Bernardeschi completely, who had a good first half, as he moved to wing back.

Encouraging: the CBs, Locatelli, Rabiot, Pellegrini, Morata in the first half

McKenni and Szczesny were dreadful. De Sciglio was ok, nothing remarkable in either direction. Kulusevski tried but failed to do anything concrete outside of a great combination with Morata that the GK parried.

He is , a wing

but if Bastoni misses, Inzaghi prefers to adapt Dimarco (he 's played in that system at Hellas, also there mainly wing but also defender) more than Darmian or D'Ambrosio

Anyway it doesn't change matter, atm he's considered just a sub for Perisic ( on purpose, what a chance the Croatian missed today ), he can still improve anyway

his weakness is also the strenght, not by chance he got cramps today

Good performance so far. Missed a few good chances, and were too speculative with others.

Why is Giroud not playing?

Immobile nearly scored with Lazio's first real chance at target. A smart header from him saved by Magnian.

Tbh our options are Ranocchia, Kolarov and Danilo, maybe Dimarco is the lesser evil.

We are extra thin at the back regarding backup, and even though both Ranocchia and D'Ambrosio did well under Conte, I don't think that will continue under Inzaghi.
