well bakayoko never had good first impression at milan then suddenly he burst in the scene. he was arguably the best player in the second half of 2018 season for milan

Ibra with a terrible shot Laughing

But that's the kind of chances that make goals. Others try and trap then shoot, which just loses the chance altogether.

it is critical that anderson luis alberto and SMS were kept on check and not allowed freedom to dictate the game on pitch and i guess in that respect calabria tonali kessie tomori has been exception today

This is a much better performance against Lazio than the last two matches.

Much more controlled, and could have scored a couple more goals without Lazio seriously threatening themselves.

Milan 2 - 0 Lazio

Great return by Ibra, who scores in the first five minutes, and does a great job linking things up, but his touch is still too strong.

Very controlled performance, and could have scored more goals without conceding many dangerous chances. Great game all around.

Bakayoko's second debut went terribly. Lucky not to get a red, and just around awful until he got injured in nine minutes. Hopefully, that gets it out of his system and he can perform normally now.

Very satisfied with our win v what seems to be a promised Sarri-led Lazio.

Ibra's goal made me smile as he is always up for it when he returns be it long lay-off or Covid related one.

Interesting end for Roma too given its their 3rd win in a row and El Shaarawy's golazo in the 90th min to win it for them drove Mourinho to do a touchline run.

Then summer seems to have done a world of good to Tonali, back on track to performing as the talent that Milan signed.

Italiano and Juric with very impressive starts. Torino has been played and looking like a Juric team, now winning 4-0 without Belotti. A result that sounds absurd for Torino's recent level.

Italiano also seems to have figured out how to dispel the curse on Fiorentina. Their team is finally performing according to the players they had. Last 2 seasons of Firoe have been such extreme underperforming. Very interesting squad.

unfortunately didnt watch the game because of F1, then football then something else. too tired lol. but watched extended highlights and omg lol just end to end action, tammy hitting post, traore hitting post, jeremy boga missing sitter ... all craziness until the end.

tammy has been incredible and even like Shomurodov adds new dynamism. also like pellegrini was so dangerous. roma has made some incredible progress upfront. even veretout is scary nowadays.

i think it was sort of lucky scenario for us in many ways that bakayoko didnt get sent off and theo lost his way a bit with his frustation and shoving pedro.

also i have to say that sarri has made lazio interesting because there is a lot more movement from every players and they move ball quick and fast. we were fortunate that we had tomori kessie calabria putting very good concentration throughout the game to nullify lazio players.

i didnt think lazio were bad, pedro was really mobile, kept theo and kessie busy, luis alberto couldnt able to make incision passes and he dropped deep and was doing all sorts of orchestrating ...

SMS and perhaps anderson was probably the most disappointing given their capabilities to change the course of the game. also they missed lazzari.

i think sarri will have his team back in shape. problem is that they dont have backup players as good as first team

couldnt find the roma thread but - wow tammy was bought for like 37m pound but has a buyback clause of 68m... sounds like roma has won this deal regardless. what a player tammy is. roma attack is scary to watch with him.

tomori and tammy two of chelsea's bright players in serie a.. nice Very Happy

too early but so far in 3 games has done great. i was a bit scared about the mass investment on Tonali and too much expectations on him but its good that he has kept that aside and focus on pitch.

lol with Juric he was so mad towards Torino that on the last day of transfer Torino made handful of signings. but im sort of sad that milan gave away pobega to torino only for Juric to say he is ok but he is not quite the player i wanted. very critical in press before Pobega has even played but i liked his honestly XD

i am gonna say this that as long as Mandragora is healthy he would be one of the most talked italian player. incredible in defense and during transition. would be nice to see him getting a call up. his udinese stint was not a failure but he was just too much injured. still dont understand why juve lost him he is way better than any juventus midfield players. i like him even better than locatelli.

on Italiano he was saying something like he wanted Fiorentina to defend well first and then making team feel free to attack. sounds like old school tactical italian coach.

i had been saying to robes ... that federico di marco is really good player lol.
his loan stint at parma was good, at Verona .. alongside faraoni and few other players (forgot the portugese player name) and ivan illic ..
he is not like WC but he is good player like i would put him to darmian level in terms of what he can offer. in U21 games against Spain he was crazy good where italy defeated 3-1 (chiesa scored 2x and i think mancini scored header in that game) and was also great against belgium u21.

Juric likes him, what he said about Pobega being "a defeat" is the fact that it's a dry loan.

Juric: "Pobega is a beautiful player, he has legs, I like him. But for me it's a defeat because he arrives on a dry loan". He scored last night coming from the bench, should be important to Torino. Mandragora-Lukic is the midfield pair so Pobega should compete with Linetty.

I imagine he will return to Milan next summer after a good season with Torino.
