Southgate has bottled it lmao. Five defenders plus two defensive midfielders even though England have the most talent in attacking players for the first time in ages. He's come off so well so far, but bottled it at the last hurdle.

I 've ever seen that collective madness as when Italy wins WC 2006. Incredibile memories. Insanity for days in a row.
I had watched the final on big screen in the square.
Now everything is different, covid, you 're older and not anymore that enviable airiness of a teenager.... But you can feel the atmosphere.
Incomparable also with 2012, that was soft in comparison , probably due to contentment for the recent WC won.
Now conversely ... just 3 years ago you didn't get qualified at WC.

I'm baffled how no one sees that Horse face Southgate has actually made the EXACT change he needed to.

You'll see it trouble Italy past the 10 minute mark.

Italy was sleeping in the beginning, and England scored and dominated for 10 or so minutes.

Since then, Italy basically were playing like poverty Spain without any penetration.

Emerson is useless offensively. He is in the right places, but he doesn't do well with the ball.

Immobile is freaking useless as well. England is dangerous on the counter. I don't see this getting better for Italy. If Jorginho goes out injured, expect another 4-0.
