Belgium's defence is quite suspect. Denmark showed that. But Italy without Chiellini is also weak at the back.

De Bruyne makes a huge difference, and Belgium clearly were not ready for Denmark for the first half or so, I think the first 30 mins almost were all played in the Belgium half. But we all knew inevitable once Denmark pressure wanes Belgium would be back in it. Belgium is actually rated no.1 in the world according to the commentator? Im sure they would be more fired up vs Italy.

Indeed Serie A players are on fire. It's like all the man of the match are from Serie A. Maehle looked especially dangerous every time he goes on his mazy dribble. It's ridiculous how a wingback touches the ball so many times in the opposition box. I guess that's what Gaspeerini magical touch does to talented fullbacks

Thanks Superstone. Is this a new rules? IIRC the past tournaments of old counted group goal difference first? Even the commentator wrongly thought Denmark would move ahead of Finland becos they are scoring more goals.

Denmark been very unlucky, definitely dont deserve to go out instead of Finland.

I don't remember how was the rules in the past tournaments. But the commentator wasn't entirely wrong. Because Denmark, Finland, and Russia all on 3 points. So they have their own 3 teams head to head mini league, where each team have 1 win and 1 loss. So, if Denmark beat Russia 1-0 then we'll look to goal difference. But since Russia were beaten 4-1, then they are bottom of this mini league and Denmark are top courtesy of their superior goal difference in this 3 teams head to head. A bit confusing, is it
