They created chances but their defense is so weak that it gets exposed in big games. They've made so many strange choices in the market. Lopez, Ibanez, Fazio, Karsdorp, Mayoral, Jesus it's such a random collection of players.

Of those players, Karsdorp, Ibanez and Mayoral have come good this season. Karsdorp in particular has been the standout among those 3. In really good form. A shame he spent a chunk of this game at CB.

Lopez is likely going to be sold in the summer and Fazio/JJ were already frozen out. They only get minutes because of the defensive injury crisis. Fazio, in particularly, showed exactly why he has no place in this squad yesterday. Far too slow in transition and conceded a penalty while almost getting sent off for that sarcastic clap (would've been a 2nd yellow if he had been booked for the foul leading to the penalty).

In general, I have no complaints about the result. We had many chances and just couldn't put them away. It's a miracle in itself we conceded only twice when Milan could've had twice as many. Same goes for us. We probably should've scored at least 2 more times. The scoreline flattered both sides.

Playing with a proper 9 makes such a difference. Morata needs to get in form and stay healthy ASAP.

Bernardeschi providing width and Morata occupying the backline 'fixed' the lack of ideas we had. Kulusevski is completely lost in his role and Ronaldo needs a striker partner.

Sassuolo are destroying Napoli, were 2-1 up, hit the post twice in a row, had many more attacks in this half. Then Napolk equalises against the run of play with an Insigne dribble and low cross.

Now the game is broken and both teams are 100% going for it.

Most entertaining Serie A match in a while. Its beautiful when Sassuolo play an open opponent.

Haraslin gave away a penalty on 89' that Insigne converted.

At 93' Haraslin won a penalty from Manolas that Caputo scored to equalise 3-3

pioli is a complete sook for playing castillejo when he could have easily played either diaz or saladmaker from the get go.

leao and castillejo these two spent entire 74 min either loosing or backpassing the ball when they should be the one bringing ball upfront . backpass backpass someone passes them upfront no pass them back!

leao deserves 2 in this game.. the very end when saladmaker was about to take a shot from the inside box with no one marking him and what does leao do ??? stands on his way and blocks saladmaker from taking a shot !!! leao was playing for udinese... backpasses and blocked saladmaker for taking that shot on goal

as CS pointed out leao is a complete mood kind of player if he is not feeling it he shouldnt be in the sub let alone in the first 11.

castillejo i dont know how long does someone needs to tell pioli to not play him ! this guy lost 98% of the ball he was given to him. there was one clear cut chance that he could have just passsed to a team mate but he took it on himself

let me tell you from experience that Lazio are a trash team, you should be able to beat them easily

Lazio played their worst game of the season vs Bayern. They'll be better against us as they are in Serie A in general.

More importantly though, we are wrecked by injuries and covid, played in the midweek, and have Porto on Tuesday. Meanwhile Torino had a covid breakout so Lazio-Torino was not played. Lazio will come into the match with a weeks rest. Doesn't look good for us.

Apparently our only fit-to-start CB is 4th choice Demiral, so our backline should be 2 fullbacks (Danilo, Alex), plus likely Bernardeschi on the left.

Maybe Cuadrado will return so we play with 2 fullbacks and 4 wingers in the starting lineup.

Well  Lazzari is missing for Lazio too ( injured) , he 's basically their Hakimi
