Who rates De Paul for him to be overrated? He playes in lower table Serie A and isn't wanted by most fans of teams here. Would do well for the milanese teams.
Who for example ?

For his position, I like Paredes, Lanzini, Lo Celso and even Lamela better, IMO. Although some can and/or have played along side him.Robespierre wrote:BarrileteCosmico wrote:I always see him linked to top clubs and think "how?". There is an inevitability about it.
Juve, Inter, Lazio, and Atalanta having problems. Only Napoli and Roma are focused.
As they used to say a decade ago, the team with Ibrahimovic wins the league.

The team with McKennie wins the league. En route for a 10th consecutive scudetto somehow we will find a way, Pirlo's job is not that safe, and Allegri is not that far

Ibra has won many important league titles in his career, but I think if he manages to win Serie A with Milan at 39 no less, it will be his most impressive league title win yet.

yep Lo Celso is a better player but De Paul is more midfielder than him imo ( De Paul played also as CAM in past but at the end the proper role for De Paul is the current role, "mezz'ala" . I don't like him as AM but I like him as midfielder ) . Same for Lanzini or Lamela than look like more attacking players than him.
About Paredes ( yes, he's midfielder , so interesting comparison) I've not still a clear idea on how good he is. And It interests me because he might join Inter on a swap with Eriksen.

They haven't lost a single match since March.
Won around 90 % of matches.
Scored always 2 goals every match at least.
No public and it means " no pressure " for them
Just Lille OSC is their kryptonite. But they play Ligue One.
Ibrahimovic factor.

I must say, I like those Napolitina shirts. Should've continued the stripes on the back too though.
As for the game....I don't like that we're standing off of Napoli. Need to press them more. We're afraid of their pace though so I get it.

Roma look hopeless here, can't keep the ball and can't create good chances on counters.
Now Mancini off for Juan Jesus...

Juan Jesus on pitch and perhaps even Veretout out, everything goes bad to Roma

Re: Calcio Saga 20/21
I wouldn't be surprised if they found more WWII bombs under the San Paolo tbh.
Pretty poor half though. So tentative up front and really really casual defending at the back. Twice I saw defenders taking forever and a day to clear the ball with someone bearing down on them. Inexplicable stuff. Perhaps the most damning problem is just a lack of energy and sharpness. And that's before the injuries.
If we lose Veretout, we're really going to be in trouble in this 2nd half.

And as I was typing that last post, Politano absolutely waltzes through our defense for 4-0. Emblematic of how badly we've defended today.

ya all know how to jinx it up everyone knows that our team is still not fully a team built for winning scudetto. Inter and Juve are still favorites, esp. Inter and Conte are in frame to win scudetto

yea i think Napoli was really they only had one thing and one thing on mind by the looks of how they played. they were fired up all their cylinders, i dont think Roma form would dip straight up, it was the opposite, Roma players didnt show up Napoli players did and i think that was a difference.
both side had qualities. Even though this results favor milan, i take no pleasure of it, for it is a night for Diego Maradona.

i have to give it to ya Robes! ... umm on Lille OSC... they are the most difficult team we have faced. Actually Lille OSC gets laughed at but they have really good quality players and experience in back, middle, and even upfront players like bamba, ikone, its not like they had played recently they had some very dynamic players previously along with them like leao, pepe, oshimen.
even in the middle, i mean renato sanchez, and i like benjamin andre so much that guy is a freaking wall. in defense they have botman who pretty much stopped everything and fonte is a leader.
for us last season in terms of confidence and mental preparedness was important but it meant nothing in the end, we still finished 6th. im glad players are fired up but know that this season has been incredibly competitive with rivals for top 6 cancelling out each other that means the moment u even draw or loose, u will drop from maybe top 4 to bottom 6 just like that.
we have to keep this form going but i think our fans are not carried away, end of the day, we still are 28 games away

yep would probably his most decorated league win
i am so impressed guy is injured r he has this thigh injury that he requires rest .. but no the very next day after the injury during the game, he came to the club and trained * rehabs and light training
he could have rested and watch this game with nice cup of coffee ... but no guy joins his team along, even joins the bench staffs and was continuously standing on the sidelines guiding and supporting!

Re: Calcio Saga 20/21
The only complains about our win against florence was - 2-0 up and at times we were playing like we have good lead and no need to worry ... doing backpasses. well that lead could blow up anytime, we need to be more ruthless in front of goal like atalanta.
second thing, kessie, rebic, diaz trying to overdo a little with dribbles and all when ball is already ours at opponents pk box, and shot on goal on site... just aim and put dragowski on test ... he is a damn good gk.
Lastly, krunic, dunno why we have to bring krunic to play as a 4-3-3, or play him in the wings when calhanoglu still is on. whatever that is, krunic didnt do anything noteworthy in fact that gave more ball posession to fiorentina to launch counter. whenever we stop being relentless and V " ... keeping the ball " beause we have lead, we are likely to mess up, its not happening now but there are danger sign out there.
--------------------------------------
kjaer though omfg, won every aerial duals, won all interception, kept ribery, or any fiorentina FW on check, the quality of ball even from the back to start off was second to none. Calabria also this guy has gone total transformation from one of those worst defenders out there who couldnt even play basic football 101 to sharpness in concentration, comfortable in ball posesssion, didnt do much in attack but there was few occasion he took two fiorentina players dribble past them unfortunately we couldnt convert them.
romagnoli despite goal and solid defending i still have doubts on his ability to play highline ; completely caught off guard by ribery who he thought was offside but if not for donnarumma that would be goal
