Well I guess but not having a striker is not the main issue. Barca didn't have a striker in 2010is to 2011. It's the set up.

Everyone dropping deep to get the ball and congesting the middle of the pitch. Arthur, Busquets and FDJ are great players technically but neither one of them can give penetrative passes and neither of them are good behind the oppositions MF line.

No runners from centre or wide, no capable through ball passer bar Messi etc.

Personnel problem is an issue.

There is no surprise here at all though, looking like Setien is just a make shift temp manager to get us to finish the remainder of this hopeless season now that Suarez is lost and we are not getting a replacement. Then to really change things in the summer hopefully.

The shape is not as bad as GL makes it out to be.

If Suarez and Dembele were fit, you would be praising this team.

Honestly though he's a great player but NOT the CF you're looking for. He's played as a RF for the majority of his Valencia career and he's been absolutely unplayable there. But Messi is an obstacle

That's the elephant in the room that Barca fans never want to discuss. Doesn't press, offers zero movement off the ball, overloads the centre and vacates the wings, constantly causing barca to face overloads either through the wing or through the middle.

Every time I try to think about which player has the most punchable face in world football, Alba always comes first.

Arthur I dont know whether is still not back from the STD or whatever ffs, he looked totally off the pace and werent interested, very disappointing, had high for him. Vidal hopefully can bring us some fight at least......

Barcelona should terminate Coutinho's loan. They need him in midfield.

You have to go after realistic targets though. For example, de Ligt is unattainable because he has just committed himself to Juve. You'd have to wait two or three other years for the Old Lady to be willing to sell.

I like the other targets as well, but again Kante is also out of reach.

As for Thiago, I would love to see him join Barça just to see the look of horror on hans' face.
