The bleached skin, bodybulding physique, goofy hair, and tucked in shirt. Then he puts his head down and just kicks and runs the ball to the byline. I just can't take him seriously.
Bleached skin?

Compare how he looks a few years ago to now and you'll see what I mean even more.

Commentator completely jinxed the Chelsea Arsenal game
First he said that Chelsea hadn't won a game after going behind this season, then Jorgi came on and he said he'd only scored Penalties this season.
Cheers Ian Darke

Re: 2019/2020 Premier League Discussion: Chapter III
Just watched the London derby and Arsenal were blatantly ROBBED.
Terrible refereeing, from Chelsea hacking at Arsenal players constantly, to Lacazette being through on goal ruled out for offside in minute 53 when he probably wasn't (just let it run you fucking morons and then check it in VAR), to Jorginho who should have been getting his second yellow in about 3 different blatant instances before he then could score the vital equalizer.
It's a shame, because Arsenal look exciting under Arteta. The distances between players, the passing, everything makes so much more sense and is much quicker.
Özil is motivated, running hard, and quite obviously appreciates and accepts Arteta, which isn't a given considering they played together. Also a reminder what an irresistible player he can be, surely one of the most elegant players ever,
Of course, once Özil was off, 85% of Arsenal's creativity vanished with him, but that is not Arteta's fault. Leaving Özil on for a whole game is also not an option.
I'm very optimistic that Arteta can be a great success and I'm looking forward to it happening.

Great analysis by Hans.
For ones perturbed by the loss are missing the point. A closer look at the game tells you the changes Arteta already has implemented into the team and they are positive and clearly deliberate rather than change for the sake of experimentation and of course the right ones.
özil is the one to lead his style of football it is obvious as those two seem to already be forming a close relationship in understanding and I do feel despite him past his best, the German will see a notable improvement in himself as Neuer summed it up best when he said Özil needs to have fun when playing.
Plus officiating robbed them absolutely.
Very impressed by Lampard though yet again and how quick he is to implement his changes. Will end up a fantastic coach just like Mikel.

Pellegrini took Malaga and Villareal to new heights.
Turned 09/10 madrid into a free flowing attacking monster in just one season.
Won EPL
yet still.... Moyes is chosen over him

That is a very deceptive angle. In reality, Luiz was not very close to hitting Kanté

Re: 2019/2020 Premier League Discussion: Chapter III
That's just West Ham in a nutshell.
They go with a foreign manager, enjoy what he brings for a bit, then sack them the moment results turn.
Then, as if the foreign manager was specifically the problem, they go for an domestic manager, benefit from the change of emphasis, but then hit a hard block.
So he gets sacked, and they go back to wanting more style, so hire another foreign manager... and so on.
Since 2008, they've had:
Zola (Italian)
Grant (Israeli)
Allardyce (English)
Bilic (Croatian)
Moyes (Scottish)
Pellegrini (Chilean)
Moyes again (Scottish)
Moyes will bring "discipline" and "organisation", results will improve, everyone will be happy... and then reality sets in, his shit football wears out the fans, results start to drop and they'll be demanding a more attractive and attacking style of football.

Re: 2019/2020 Premier League Discussion: Chapter III
Going for Pellegrini was a mistake in the first place, an over-the-hill manager who was already chilling in China. Just like Everton are making a mistake appointing Ancelotti just because he's a big name. Nothing suggests these guys are going to produce their best work at wannabe big clubs like West Ham and Everton. The bold choice for West Ham would be to pursue someone like Howe or Dyche, a manager to whom West Ham would be a step up.
It doesn't help that their bigger signings seem to always under-perform (Felipe Anderson is yet to score a goal this season; Haller cost £45m and has just-about-ok'ish 5 goals). They need someone in charge who's got an idea of what the squad needs instead of going for the fanciest player they can get.

Then what names would you have suggested if not Pellegrini & Ancelotti for their respective clubs

So a boot that high is fine as long as he's not making contact with his face?
All I am saying is that, no boot needs to be that high, especially as Luiz is the one who kicked the ball, whose follow through is that high? That is a free kick for Chelsea and possibly a yellow card, yet it wasn't called at all. Bad reffing goes both ways.
