Arsenal Vs Aston Villa
So.. we can be 4th tomorrow if we win comfortably. Crisis will be half over.
A lot of talks over Emery and the team and the system. There is no better match than tomorrow to get some of it right. The EL match was the right step towards improvement.
Aston villa have some good players who can hurt us. But we are at home lol. Should be a comfortable win.
I will 100% start Saka. He deserves this. We also needs to put out an attacking team. I'd drop Sokratis for Chambers or....Mustafi
----------------------Leno-------------------------
AMN---------Luiz--------Chambers----------Kolasinac
-----------Ozil----Xhaka---Ceballos----------
Pepe-----------------Aubameyang-------------Saka
Victory is ours

This should be a comfortable win but under Emery’s Arsenal... who knows?

Omg yesssss
Nearly a perfect team other than Sokratis starting and Guendouzi instead of Ozil/Willock.

Re: Arsenal Vs Aston Villa
should we be giving Chambers a chance again?
Maybe Emery should have put him next to Luiz, especially since Holding is gunna be back soon and he might not get a lot more opportunities for PL games.

The two chances Chambers got, he was pretty good in both so i would say give him another chance over Sokratis who has been really poor this season.

Terrible.
We should all do something else with our Sunday evenings tbh.
If Arsenal can't be arsed, then neither can I.

Gotta say I have never seen our midfield this weak. Everyone and their mothers can run through with ease.

Re: Arsenal Vs Aston Villa
and that's when Emery has nothing to lose and have to go all out, he has to be less of a coward and nail down our best 11.

Re: Arsenal Vs Aston Villa
Thankfully, Villa sat off instead of going for the kill.
Not for the first time, Arsenal look a lot better when they're attacking with intent and pace. The team looks a lot more comfortable playing that way and not worrying about anything else. Hell, you could even call that the "Arsenal way". Freedom to attack and play, not being burdened by instructions or whatever it is Emery is trying to instil in them.
Also, Willock and Torreira have to be starters because of their dynamism. Xhaka/Guendouzi/Ceballos doesn't have the legs nor positional sense to compensate.

Re: Arsenal Vs Aston Villa
That Chambers goal alone was worth sitting through this
cant believe it had to be all this drama for what should have been straightforward match

Re: Arsenal Vs Aston Villa
Wish this game was on TV so we could have enjoyed it a lot more...
But agreed with Jay. We need need need need to persist with the midfield that finished the game.
Willock-Guendouzi-Torreira. I am done with Xhaka now.
We need athleticism and mobile players in midfield. All 3 have good technique too. That midfield needs to start against United.

Re: Arsenal Vs Aston Villa
Xhaka has been one of the most fraudulent players in the PL for a couple seasons now. He should have been sold not just this summer but the summer before this one. Dude has absolutely no business playing with a team better than like, a Crystal Palace.
