i don't understand this mindset? i wouldn't even call it sentimental attachment. Isn't the draft supposed to be the biggest deal if anything is --- you choose your players and your strategy and you try to stick to it as best as possible. of course it makes sense if you trade to improve on your strategy, but it's always so tricky trying to find the right balance for yourself and your fellow trader's team - and that's the main reason i believe trades don't happen a lot.

What's the point of throwing players around for fun, to the point where you switch and change, taking away from your teams identity.

That's the point of having different seasons. If your team flops one season, you can go draft with another strategy the following season.

only player i drafted last year and drafted again this year is K.Love and then I also drafted Terrence Ross whom i had for a large majority of last season but he's been poor this season so i dropped him from my team

I mean I think it depends a bit.

Obviously if your team flops then you don't get overly attached and next year you're gonna look for new players.

If your team does very well, you may become attached to some players. There are also the players you wanted, but didn't get last year that you may have some attachment to. I really wanted Myles Turner, Covington, and Gallinari last year. I drafted all three this year because of that. I'm loving having them. On the flip side, I was sad to see I was not able to end up with Brogdon or Buddy, both players that I loved having on my team last year.

Of course, it would be nice to see Gallo get as many FT's as he did last year.

At the end of the day, strategy is more important (I drafted Harden and CP3 and dislike both of those guys), but I'm not gonna pretend like fantasy is just an objective game where people only improve their team based on strategy and nothing else. I want to like my players, and sometimes I'll catch a game just to watch them, even if it's not the bucks.

Nothing better than watching Gallo cash a 3 and yelling at him to get his money, knowing that he's helping you in fantasy

Also today, another great performance from one of my players that i cannot fully enjoy, this time by Capela who shot a poor 1/5 on free throws. A second 20-20 in last four games

Gonna lose 6-3 on a tight one...ghost with a couple late adds which was the difference between me winning 6-3 and him winning 6-3. Incredible move.

I won a couple categories by tight margins last week so I'm ok with this. Messed around with my roster a lot this week and had a games disadvantage so I didn't particularly think I would win this week anyway

For example it says Habs vs Chillbert we play 45 games each, that's bs, i made the count it was 36-34

But i am just joking usually the numbers add up and make sense for each category

Maybe it counted injured players who weren't on the bench?

I still would've won 5-4 without the new addition Wright and Harris helped me secure the assist department that's it they got one three pointer between them so I would've won the 3pointer by one instead of two and they got me no steals which I won. I had FG%, rebounds and points on lock already.

But yeah reminds me against Luca last week JM went ham and dropped 7 3 pointer locked that category and was leading 5-4 then AD got 5 blocks and gave him that category and he won that beef.
