Lead down to double-figures now...
England so far doing a good job of taking 1s/2s post-tea, instead of coming out swinging.

The ball is absolutely dead.
And Woakes n Buttler had some prime brexit beans on toast during tea. This composure is not england like at all

And to think that Buttler was in risk of losing his place in the team
This innings just about cements his inclusion in the team

Incredible chase by England.
I feel Pakistan missed a trick here when England were 5 down, they could have had both spinners bowling in tandem when the ball was turning all over the place
I feel Pakistan needed to win this to make this series competitive but sadly I see one way traffic going forward
Incredible game of test cricket though. Love watching test cricket in England.

Pretty much. Wish there was crowd for this.
This is why test cricket is the best format still. Only thing that would have made it better was if it was the 5th day.
can't wait for the 2nd test.

Breaking. Ben Stokes will miss the rest of the Test series to go home to NZ for family reasons.

Cracker of ball by Yasin shah to dismiss Pope. Classic leg spin bowling at its best.

Buttler doesn't give two fucks about who's bowling or how's the pitch, you bowl him bad bowl he will punish it more often than not.

Ton for Buttler. Nearly double century for Crawley.
At which point do England declare? Pakistani batting is weak. 400 might be good considering there is always rain scare.

Re: "The Gentleman's game"- Cricket
Crawley going for Gooch's record here. Could be the first England player in forever to reach a triple hundred. Cook got close with a couple of 290s.
Quite funny looking at England's scorecard, though. Sibley, Burns, Root and Pope all <30 runs. Crawley and Buttler with 400 runs between them.
