Quite funny looking at England's scorecard, though. Sibley, Burns, Root and Pope all <30 runs. Crawley and Buttler with 400 runs between them.

Anderson is just four test wickets away from 600. Would be the first fast bowler to take that many.
I reckon he could surpass Kumble's 619 by the time he's finished.
Warne's 708 and Murali's 800 are too far off though.

Tbf Anderson's away average is nowhere near as good as his home average. Steyn performed in all conditions but lacked longevity. Anderson is the king in English conditions and has longevity.
An all time great, but not the greatest fast bowler ever.
Still cool seeing an English bowler so high on that list though.

Also it was the first test so it's not like they already had won the series and they just decided to have fun. Even then it would have be out of ordinary. Seems like Ranatunga wanted to issue the statement of some kind.

Anyone watched the India-Australia test series ?
One of the greatest comebacks I've ever witnessed after being bowled out for 36 in the first test. Incredible to come back from that low to win the entire series. This is easily on par with Ashes 2005. Winning down under with our B team ffs. Oof.

Robinson looks a good long-term Broad replacement, but I'm dreading the day Anderson finally retires. Him and Root are basically why this test team are even remotely competitive sometimes.
