Re: Phil Foden
Listen, even Scholes didn't look as good as he obviously was wearing the England uniform. Try one's best to ignore Foden's England performance (whether it be good or otherwise) as England is weird team and would continue to be one.
It ain't everyone lol. We both know it's whomever Barcelona fans seem to like these days. And by recent events, by winning the CL and La Liga, be specific.

The irony of the posters who have been subjecting the forum to weekly deluges of wacky conspiracy theories lamenting the lack of "quality posts" on the site.

Exact same thing with Madrid players. First half of the season fans and media Bellingham should be BdO winner and now Vini should be. It shouldn't be a shocker that people/media hype up the players from the two most dominate teams in the past 2-3 years this is how football has always been.

I noted this as well. Madrid fans basically pulled the 2021 Chelsea fan move, when they unceremoniously shifted their campaign from "Kante for BO" to "Jorginho for BO" after the Euros
But with City it seems like a constant revolving door and it makes it hard for players to get the individual recognition they deserve. We went from De Bruyne to Haaland to Rodri to Foden in less than two years. It's hard to be regarded as the best in the world when the public isn't even sure you're the best player on your team.

Re: Phil Foden
Our club has only ever backed one player completely though. We've never backed 2 players although both Bellingham and Vini have been incredible this season. This season the club is backing Vini to win it like they did with Benz a couple of seasons ago.
City on the other hand haven't really got a clear favourite for the balon d'or. Their fans have vouched for Rodri, KDB and Haaland equally much. The only reason Haaland for balon d'or was unanimous last season was because he shattered every single goalscoring record

That is exactly what I've been thinking.
There is no way Gareth will understand this and there is a good chance that England fails and Jude and Phil will get massacred.
Bellingham has a wider operating window though, while I think it takes a top coach to really make Foden do his thing in the best way possible.
Can't wait to see tbh.
And surprise, surprise.
Gareth shafted him and now all those pundits are asking for his head, smh.
GL saw it coming though. We are so evolved, we don't even exist on the same plane of conciousness as those football "experts".

Re: Phil Foden
bench the guy... Foden needs to accept he is 2nd in line to Jude and Saka for his favourite positions. Gordon, Eze and i would say even Palmer could do a better job on the left wing.

You know, even if one doesn't rate Saka, Foden is still not gonna get the RW simply because he lacks that burst that either Saka or even Bowen has. And he certainly is not a LW no matter how one tries to swing it.
Yeah, dear Gareth needs to re-adjust his Gala 11.

Re: Phil Foden
Foden doesn't score or make enough goals for England, and isn't better than Saka, Bellingham or Kane in their respective positions. Improve, or be replaced by Gordon.
