Its kind of weird though. Cahill would have been cheaper and better.

G.Cahill is a better option, he would coust a few million more but he is younger,proven and has more potential, becoming a world class CB.

He's hugely over-rated and it's a mssive amount for a 29 Year old who won't improve.
He's just a media darling like David Moyes......English Media make Fellaini look better than Busquets ... Everton are mediocre, trust me !!

Back then you could get a good defender in his prime years for 12 millions PL tax included
