I don't like him as much. I rate Matip and VVD, that's about it. Gomez is good but I think there is a lot to improve. Maybe Trent has set my opinion high on youngsters but CB is a place where you have to be 95% correct in every decision in the PL, he isn't.

I've seen enough of Gomez to know what he's like and this isn't new, I have been calling the guy out since day one for his positioning.

I am also tired of people saying "oh gomez was bad/rusty today" for the past 1.5 years.

He isn't good enough, maybe he will be one day inshallah. Right now he isn't. We are fighting for the league title from day 1 here so YES i do have problem considering our no2 is Lovren.

GTFO, he's just part of a great team similar reason why Lovren and Skrtel lasted this long in the Liverpool FC jersey. He will be good one day, but he isn't right now. So don't come crying that you want Klopp out if Gomez makes a mistake that causes us to lose mmkay?

Many young CBs have this issue with positioning. Gomez surely does not make correct decisions in every situation but I have seen long stretches of his game and I feel he does have enough potential to be a starting CB in an EPL challenging team. If he gets regular time, he will come good.

See everything I've said and been saying in 2017 January, Gomez is supposed to be no4. He's not supposed to no3 Lovren was supposed to be replaced, he wasn't. Gomez I don't trust him to win me the league and I am 200% you don't either if Matip gets injured, that's all I have been trying to say.

Matip outplayed VVD in our CL run last year. Every CB has some bad games. Matip is world class and sometimes even our most creative player with his passing and runs forward.

What I like about Gomez is his passing and his speed, but Nish is right that his positioning isn't that good, but I guess that comes with age for a lot of CBs, so I think he has a future here but shouldn't be starting atm, VVD and Matip are levels above him.

I also think since his injury against Burnley last December Gomez hasn't looked like the same player. He made some errors before, but not as nearly as he does now

We are conceding a lot this season, but as long as we outscore the opponent it's fine with me, it looks much more like real Klopp football now. We look closer to the 2017/18 Liverpool than last season, but at least there's loads of goals

never said Gomez is ahead of Matip, at least on his current form. Remember Matip was injurypron not so long ago so we need Gomez in and around the first team. In fact I have seen Matip in BL for many many years so I exactly know how good eh can be. We might need to rest Vvd in between or god forbid during injury also. Gomez will surely come good but just need more game time to develop.

Full team against Leicester? Heading into the NT break as it is after this or would you start Milner to counter Maddison. Fabinho will be really important here.

There isn't much choice regarding defense and attack, but I truly hope Klopp is a bit enterprising in selecting the midfield. Another start for OX perhaps?
