I'm looking forward to Control in August though.

I started playing a free to play souls-like called Let it Die, yesterday. It's a really odd, dark and grotesque game that could only have been created by a Japanese mind I'm actually quite liking it so far, but it's free to play, so I'm expecting some shit down the line. Other than that, I've been playing different games on Playstation Now. Been thinking of starting on Prey, but I hate playing games like that when I only have one or two hours in the evening at my disposal.

I played Let It Die when it was new like 4 years ago or so. Wasn;t bad.

I imagine a lot has changed since then. The vast amount of features and functions seems a bit overwhelming.

They are both good, I would say Detroit is great. Before that I played Metro, which was definitely great.

Last Light>Exodus>2033 for me.

I was playing mate, i'm not really in the mood for Far Cry atm and i've never been a fan of David Cage's games tbh but i'm sure they are fun.

I liked the first two. Everyone seems to say that, unlike the first two, the third one was rushed out and left in an unpolished and unfinished state, so I didn’t give it a chance.

Interesting titles that come out over the next week: Judgement (from makers of the Yakuza series), Call of Cthulhu.

Some good stuff lads. Looks like it's backlog season.

What are we hyping next?

The games i want to play this year are Control, The Outer Worlds, Death Stranding, Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order, Pokemon Sword and Shield and Doom Eternal is a maybe.

Borderlands 3 as well but only because of co-op with friends, i wouldn't buy it if i was going to play it solo.

Also I'm surprised nobody's mentioned Wolfenstein: Youngblood. Not sure why the new Wolf games don't get the recognition they deserve, they are seriously underrated games IMHO.

That one will be released next month, if I'm not mistaken. I really liked the first Wolfenstein (among the two reboots), the second one was not quite as good as the first one, but a pretty good sequel nonetheless. I'll wait for reviews on Youngblood. Other than that, the games I'm interested in this year are pretty much the same as Mole's, except for Pokemon and Doom Eternal. I have yet to complete the first Doom (reboot), not gonna leave it and jump on this new one.

Anyone on here played Judgement, yet? I would've picked it up already, if I didn't have so many hectic weeks ahead of me.

The new Pokemon game for Switch lol, i've not played one properly for years so thought the first Switch one was a good time to give it a try.

Finished it, it was quite mediocre. Could understand why long term fans were really annoyed, maybe an expansion might help but I doubt it. Now onto Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night and I'm getting PTSD flashbacks of being "lost" in Castlevania all over again.

Ah, that's a shame. The people who've played the game seem to be really divided. I've read everything from "poor Yakuza re-skin" and "worst game they ever made" to "best game of the last decade" and "I couldn't have asked for more" But I'll take your word for it. I never seem to run out of things to play on Playstation Now, anyway. Tell me what you think about Bloodstained, once you're done with it

Dunno if I should start on a backlog of things that I've been meaning to play for like a year, but these games don't interest me that much; Divinity 2, Nier Automata, etc

or tempted to give FFXIV a shot on PS4, played it for a week on PC about a year ago and it was good but my PC is in storage now and from looking around, it's very very well optimized for console/controller play with a lot of PC players using a controller over M+KB

on the other hand, starting an MMO is a huge comittment

was looking at Bloodstained Ritual of the night and think it looks dogshit tbh

also waiting to see if new Switch versions are announced this year as is rumoured, will likely end up buying one

the tyrant Mike Ashley just  bought Game, it'll be gone within a couple years

it was always going to die, I haven't been inside of one in about 6 years so it has been irrelevant to me all of this gen  but dem childhood memories, traded in mad games to them during the early days of 360/PS3, remember getting Skyrim there launch week for £20 new somehow, staff new it was a mistake but allowed it without looking into it too much

although my real early memories it was called electronics boutique ffs

Play Divinity, i can tell ypu from now you wont like Nier, its a very bland game underneath
