Man City CL Ban
City might get booted from the CL next season
Arsenal would become a CL team if that's the case

Re: Man City CL Ban
All this and PSG still fking suck in the CL, yikes.P.S.G. and UEFA have a tangled relationship. The team’s owners also run beIN Sports, the broadcaster that is UEFA’s biggest media rights buyer. Both the club and beIN Sports are run by Nasser al-Khelaifi, a Qatari national who was elected to a position on UEFA’s executive board earlier this year.
Also, City would get away and it'll be the final nail in the coffin FFP has created for itself. A toothless dragon that only is able to rough up Italian teams apparently.

Pep can't buy a semi despite breaking financial fair play rule .
It takes a humongous spending spree to get banned for ffp.

Not gonna happen. The bald fraud is just looking for an excuse not to participate in the CL next season to avoid being made fun of when he gets knocked out in the quarters for the umpteenth time after spending a billion euros.

Re: Man City CL Ban
WAh who cares.
It's just a tournament for the rest of Europe to get giddy about after their domestic championships are decided in November.
At least they leaked this after we won the Premier League but no shock it's a few days before a possible UNPRECEDENTED domestic treble.
But lets look on the bright side, it won't affect our summer transfer business and they still have to call this competition "Champions League" without including the champions of the only league the rest of the world cares about, plus Manchester United will get our place so that'll be amusing and it'll keep Firenze away from the noose this summer. Maybe they'll rename it "2019-20 finishing sixth League." They'll have to change that pi$$ poor Champions League Anthem too from "Champions" to perhaps "Finished sixth"
It's a win win for everybody.

Good news for Fraudiola, he won't have to answer for another CL failure next year.

I mean i suspect being banned from the competition is much worse than failing to win the tournament.

For City? Sure. For Pep? It's a blessing in disguise. He would definitely enjoy going a full season without CL football if it means him having a legit excuse for not winning it.

Re: Man City CL Ban
Fraudiola intentionally bought 4 CBs for 300 million so that city will get banned and he doesn't have to answer for the failures any more.

Re: Man City CL Ban
have any of these bans, whether transfer bans or cup bans really worked in recent times? it seems domestic bans are a lot more tougher than continental ones. didn't chelsea also have a ban at one point, prior to the one they're having now? and i remember some transfer bans on us, barcelona and atleti, that just fizzled away after being temporarily lifted to make transfers. i don't see this going anywhere; unless its something crazy like match fixing or doping on a huge scale, i really don't see this happening. but then again i don't have the logistics on the story

No i think like a normal person, Pep is a insanely competitive person he wants to win all the time lol. He's not looking to be out of a competition just so he can avoid some people on the internet criticizing him lol.
If you actually think this way you probably need to live in the real world for a bit lol.

Re: Man City CL Ban
so UEFA are not bothered about the teams in england that cant compete with city spending they only care that fenerbahce cant out spend them. if city broke the rules to compete in the UCL then surly they broke the rules to win the EPL.

Re: Man City CL Ban
Supposedly De Ligt was gonna sign there, maybe he'll think twice
That would be the only consequence if they are banned, some targets might not join
But for just one year i doubt it's a big hit for City, most veterans and coaching staff should stay and concentrate on the EPL tripeat or English treble which is a great achievement. Unless Pep is so eager to win the CL that he'll leave his current project for another (Juve ?)

Everton bought Sigurdsson for 45M
Then Pickford for 50M
This argument is invalid. All english clubs are rich as fuck.

Re: Man City CL Ban
it dont matter if everton spend 30billion the point is why are city being punished for breaking rules in the UCL and not for breaking the same rules in the EPL. if they are saying city had an unfair advantage in the UCL then that stands to reason that they won the EPL by having an unfair advantage.Warrior wrote:Unique wrote:so UEFA are not bothered about the teams in england that cant compete with city spending they only care that fenerbahce cant out spend them. if city broke the rules to compete in the UCL then surly they broke the rules to win the EPL.

You realize that that the CL and the EPL have different rules right? and that the CL is UEFA's, while the the EPL is FA's.

Re: Man City CL Ban
What i meant is all clubs in Premier League can outspend every club in the world except QSG, Real, Barca and maybe Bayern and Juve.
The gap between City and Everton (as example) is only due to City having oil money therefore being a more attractive club for top players, it's not unfair if there is no salary cap.
In fact the reason of the ban is City LIED about a sponsorship revenue, they inflated it.

Enough talk from UEFA, they need to be banning for this. Which means I have to cheer Arsenal on for EL, I think. COYG.
