Why do PL fans act like City is the only team that spends big money?

Pool spent 70M on a CB, 70M on a goalie, and 60M on a CM from Bundesfodder.

Chelsea spent 55M on a DM and 60M on fucking Pulisic.

The less said about Yanited the better.

The league is rich af. Meh teams are paying 50M for players. Maybe I can understand Arsenal fans's frustrations, but then again that's the same club who decided to spend 60M on a CF when they already had a 40M CF and decided to give Ozil a monster contract when he showed signs of decline.

I've said this before but Spurs fans are the only one who gets to complain tbh.

the rules are you can spend what you earn so any money liverpool spent on players was made by selling players or money from success on and off the pitch. city have by far the best and most expensive squad in the world and if they cheated the rules to get that squad then thats not fair to others.

You know what's worse though?

When those billionare owners have much more money than other teams in the league creating a monopoly of sorts in which they end up buying other teams's best players.

To the best of my knowledge that isn't happening in the PL. Other teams have plenty of money to spend on top talent and City is hardly hoarding all the top players in the world either. Who is there most expensive signing anyways, Mahrez? For what 65M or something?

Exactly. I'd be surprised if anything came out of it. The last time UEFA threatened City, Khaldoon responded by saying he'd rather spend 30M on the 50 best lawyers in the world and sue UEFA for 10 years rather than pay a full fine.
