people go on about winning the UCL like its the holy grail but its really not. yes i would love liverpool to win it but gone are the days when winning it meant you are the best team in europe. the seeded teams get a by in the group stage then 2 good draws and you near the final and anything can happen in a one off game.

It's sad that Italian football hasn't been able to rejuvenate itself in the same manner.

The Dutch league has two and a half teams and the rest is just a bunch of Serie B mid-tablers.

The Italian football had a UCL semifinalist last year. As for talents, they have enough coming down the pipe.

when your club hasn't won a major trophy in like 15 years this is really what you tell yourself to sleep better at night lol

This is the problem with them Adun.

Aside from their perennial provinciale personality; they buy their own hype far too much.

Winners are made from cold and ruthless performers. Passion gets you far only so much until you crumble under the pressure of emotion, a trait that is mostly useless in performance based arts in this regard.

Hence why they choke in the big moments.

Hence why they will not mount a comeback even tomorrow.
