Not excuses but missing two of our key midfielders and having to start Pereira/Mctominay/Fred is pretty scary

Keep calm, Barca have guys like Artur and Sergi Roberto in there.
I think Barca will underestimate you and get hurt

Pff. I lost all my hopes of any good result tbh, I just can’t see us good enough to put up a fight with Barca. Hans, drop your expectations if you don’t want to get hurt when Messi scores the third goal tonight.

Why would I get hurt? I hate your club, basically? I also hate Barca though so this is a clear win-win for me
The things that would hurt me this round is Ajax getting beaten badly, or Spurs failing to kick City out.

Suarez hates English teams so expect him to score like 3 or 5 goals.

saw earlier that Suarez hasn't scored an away goal in the CL in 4 years or something, maybe it was knockouts but I think it was overall
also for as much shit I was talking prior to the game, I'm not gonna back out now, but I need to reiterate that my expectations have changed now that Matic and Herrera are out

You’ve just said you are FULLY behind Ole and his boys. And, I was kind of joking with getting hurt. Not sure anymore tbh what’s on your mind considering your ambiguous posts.

Re: UCL 18/19 [Quarter Finals] - Manchester United vs FC Barcelona
Getting excited about this, interesting to see this time most obviously rating Barca way above Man U. Only thing worries me though is they have improved overall and our defense can be slow if we come across a counter with Martial or Rashford, or from set pieces, apart from that Im hoping for a good result, which we are really capable of Time to watch Messi rape Man U again
Interested to see how good a game Pogba will have, if we do dominate, perhaps he will wanna join us at Barca
Too bad the game for me will be like 3am, not sure if I can keep up, even though getting really excited

my words were contingent on us having a very strong/strongest 11 available.
Herrera and Matic being out is like Suarez and Busquets being out tbh. Whole dynamic of the team changes.
I think we still get a result tonight, but it won't be pretty.

3 at the back with Young as the RCB basically.
Not sure Herrera is even injured . He might have been ostracized, Ole could have gone all bad cop on him sigh.
Fred and McTominay will get roasted and Pogba is gonna do a Pogba of fluffing in a big game again.
I mean, all I want personally is some desire. Please not make any silly individual errors, don't earn a red card and make them at least work for that obvious win.

Re: UCL 18/19 [Quarter Finals] - Manchester United vs FC Barcelona
United fans still red from their team getting outplayed two finals in a row by Barcelona they still think it is that team and anywhere but despite Valverde being incredibly underrated, from a tactical point of view.
So such defeatism whilst to temper expectations or expecting a lot from Barcelona while understandable, underestimates what United is capable of even if the galvanisation of Solskjaer is gone.
Biggest disadvantage I see from of course the depleted midfield is also the second leg being in Camp Nou where even in a win Barcelona seem to turn it up to bring a comeback as seen on many occasions.

Re: UCL 18/19 [Quarter Finals] - Manchester United vs FC Barcelona
Young being our captain in 2019 is actually concerning about the mentality of the team tbh
how you gonna let a numpty like that be a leader and alpha male within the team? OUT
Wish we had someone with Van Dijk's mentality at CB
