Juve posters here acting like they've got it in the bag but this Ajax team is dangerous, and this Juve team is one of the worst teams left in the CL as far as I'm concerned

Re: UCL QF 18/19 | Ajax Vs Juventus
Huge huge loss for Juventus in Cheillini and not just due to him himself but the partnership he forms in tandem with Bonucci with their understand, clear difference of roles and of course the one who will play in Rugani, for all his talent has a very weak mentality and Bonucci will have to step it up and in the timing of the comments he made (though took back) Juventini better hope he is in the correct state mentally for such a big tie.
Can normally I am sure no one would blink at in his absence but after the new and seemingly perfect role that was for him in his specified deep midfield/defensive line role and one he played so perfectly, I cannot imagine Khedira or the recently not so in form Bentancur exciting the Bianconeri faithful.
Cristiano is back though one has the feeling he has been sped up quickly just for this tie and although a worthy risk, Allegri better hope he does not suffer long term damage from his increasingly niggling hamstring.
Will be interesting to see how Juventus approach as I see a 4-3-3 with Mandzu in place of Kean to once again draw the CBs to him with a midfield of Matuidi-Pjanic-Bentancur and of course Sandro back in to replace Spinazzolla.
Mainly, if Allegri goes with his typical conservative approach that really does seem sound on paper, it will only have a fearless Ajax draw them out of their comfort zone and possibly bringing Juventus to once again a very difficult tie in the 2nd leg back in Torino.

Everyone expects a tough game, especially in Amsterdam tonight and without Chiellini and Can in defense. We also expect to qualify. As far as you are concerned we were already eliminated last round, weren't right then, aren't right now.

Re: UCL QF 18/19 | Ajax Vs Juventus
The team news
Chiellini, Can and Barzagli didn't make it. Cuadrado niether but we knew that so he is out of the CL list. Khedira and Douglas recovered from long term injuries. We saw Khedira over the weekend but not Douglas, so he is definitely not fit enough to start. Ronaldo, Cancelo and Spinazzola had knocks but made it.
Expected lineup
Szczesny; Alex Sandro, Rugani, Bonucci, Cancelo; Matuidi, Pjanic, Bentancur; Ronaldo, Mandzukic, Bernardeschi
Dybala and Khedira with chances to start instead of Bernardeschi and Bentancur.

We are going to concede a couple of goals atleast with that backline.
Without Chiellini, our defense is Man United level so I am expecting Tadic and co. to have a field day tonight.

Mate, we have the Italian Bailly starting tonight alongside a washed up Bonucci. Besides our fullbacks have suddenly turned to shit, especially Sandro. This is probably the worst backline we have fielded in more than half a decade.
I think you know how it feels when Bailly starts in big games for you

1-2 win
Sandro has become crap on the offense but better on defense. Now he is just a solid guy to have.

Ajax been the dominant side but Ronaldo out of nowhere ffs.
One things for certain, this team aren't competing with the big boys in the next stages.

6 - Cristiano Ronaldo is now the joint-top goalscorer of Champions League goals at the Johan Cruijff Arena with six goals (level with Zlatan Ibrahimovic). Familiar.
Now 7.
This man is an utter joke. What a goal.

Almost 70% possession and double the passes completed from Ajax tonight. Hope they can take a lead to Turin. Deserve it.

Once it ain't Barca or Jjuve, I'll be fine with whomever. Would take a year of Pool winning the CL at this point.
