Re: UCL QF 18/19 | Ajax Vs Juventus
Going with 3-1 Juve unfortunately. Yeah Ajax play with confidence and look a strong team that know what they want to do but..they're still Ajax. That and Juve being very strong at home makes me think it'll be a routine win for 'em. Praying Ajax prove me wrong and I do think they can pull off an upset but Juve obvious favourites. Until they face a great team.

Dybala starting means we want to play a possession game, but what is up with De Sciglio then?

Re: UCL QF 18/19 | Ajax Vs Juventus
And (un)surprisingly Allegri begins with an attacking possession based gameplay similar to how he had Jjuve play in the 2nd leg vs Atleti.
Pressing from the midfield and high CBs. De Sciglio reserved but Sandro basically a wingback. Right flank definitely the more defensive of the Italian team so far.
Suits them far far more. Juve have to be careful of Ajax's lethal counters though given the risks being (rightfully) taken here.

Ridiculous atmosphere tonight in Allianz Stadium. Cristiano's influence and communication with the fan has been obvious and clearly amped up the aura in the stadio.

Ajax with more possession but doing nothing of note and Juventus the better side so far.
Cristiano makes it 1-0 with a predatory header that was hard to see coming, but that is him.
VAR was summoned for interference but de Ligt was the man who pushed his own player
What a moron. Twice Cristiano has gotten the better of him.

need a investigation into this, Juve have a precedent for cheating and De Light's been linked to them, can't understand it

not sure from when the Juventus stadium is being called as Allianz Stadium. But somehow, for me Allianz arena is the only one that sounds to good to my ears and creates a good image when someone mentions it in front of me. Allianz being associated with some other team sounds so strange.

It really is a bland and highly uninspiring name that we all only associate with one team and stadium and that is not Juventus.

VAR is drunk. This one shouldn't have even been reviewed. last week, there was a clear penalty and they didn't even reviewed it.

Ajax. Fantastic reply to a Cristiano goal.
De Sciglio daydreaming as usual.

Juve asking for the goal to be reviewed when he was literally 10 yards onside

Playing the deer-in-headlight De Sciglio over Cancelo
Mistake or none last week that is a dire decision.

Cristiano is far and away the best in Champions League even over Messi and its not even close.
Going from a big game flop to this. Surreal Champions mentality.

That wasnt De Sciglio, he is playing really well. That was Bernardeschi.

As much as I like to shit on De Sciglio, it was Bernardeschi.
And it was a fucking shitty goal. Blocked cross, bounces to a numpty who shoots into his own player, who is onside because everything was so fast that Bernardeschi didn't have time to get in line with the rest of the defence.

Finding it hard to tell the difference between them off-the-ball, my mistake though of course not on the ball due to Fede's distinct style of play.
Very messy either way.

Kean on for Dybala who suffered a knock as a result of Blind harassing him in the 1st half.
