Allegri happened. We were up 1-0, controlling the game, they got in a lucky goal and, after that, it was counterattack after counterattack. Really, the opposite of what I was expecting and we were lucky that the score was only 2-1.

The first league football match i ever watch in streaming was Ajax vs Heerenveen like 10-12 years ago. Ended 4-1 with Suarez brace. Caught it because i just discover streaming sites... in Netherlands they play very early and i had nothing else to do that morning.

Funnily enough, the last football match i watch in my life also includes an Ajax win, this time against Juve. Sports means nothing, we cheer for BULL SHIT in our sofas while we could do better with our lives. Even us winning would have just delay this observation.

Hope Ajax wins the whole thing, would be a big middle finger to all those clubs who go the easy route spending zillions.

No argument on Matuidi, but the other two are better than this. Pjanci too, for that matter. Can should cover behind him while Bentacur should offer him support. Instead, Pjanic plays deep with no other mids next to him, because they're all on the wings or on the same line as the forwards

Then put him again in that position. Deep, facing forward, where he can outmuscle the opponents. Don't play him up and ask him to press because he doesn't have the agility. Also, don't ask him to play one-twos or ball thoroughs either. Or to make late runs into the box, he's not Khedira.

He's a fucking defensive midfielder who can very easily carry the ball out of the back. he can be an emergency RB or CB and that's about it. Anything else is a waste

If we are speaking about a player that is so limited, then he isnt good enough. Same with Matuidi, not good enough. Bentancur at least has hope but he cannot be an important piece yet. Can and Matuidi are dreadful to play together and Bentancur atm is just a passenger.

The midfield is Pjanic doing everyone's job for them all at once.
