Spurs win the CL but finish 5th.
Arsenal/Chelsea win the EL but finish 6th.

That would mean whoever finishes fourth doesn't get CL football.

you mean ManUtd hmm

Very interesting, zero controversy, the reasons by club, player and coach are clearly explained.
Not used to watch this in Italy.
Paolo Di Canio tries to do something of similar on his Premier League programme via Sky Italy, but it's little stuff at the end.

I can understand it mate, it's a difficult situation.

Have you  listened the Gary Neville words ? Laughing

He's said that United should rest players for match against Manchester City .
It 's going to be a surreal  derby , if City or Liverpool don't waste points before of this.

Personally, if my team is mathematically not able to win the title, my next best hope is for the team I despise the most to not win anything.

I don't know how Utd fans view City in general but I do know they hate Liverpool as much as Pool hates them. So I would have want, really begrudgingly, for Utd to throw the derby to fk over Pool if I were a fan of Utd.

that kind of shit does not go on in the EPL mate. as much as manure hate liverpool that club has to much pride to lay down and die to stop liverpool winning anything. the problem with fans like you that latch on to clubs like madrid so you can feel like you did something when madrid win a title is you dont feel the pride and self respect you get from giving everything you have no matter what the out come. the fact that every single team gives 100% effort to win every game is why the EPL is the best in the world. how shit would football be in england if we had your attitude. in england everybody fights and nobody quits.

You say that and yet, I firmly remember Liverpool fans, including the Kop going ones, wanting them to throw their match vs Chelsea to ensure Chelsea won the title instead of Utd. Subsequently, Gerrard played a back pass to Drogba which led to a 2-0 loss at Anfield, so much for everyone fights in that match. But sure, whatever, what do I know.

In any case, we both know Utd are shitty enough to put their full effort into the derby and still get beaten lol.

Also the PFA Player of the Year nominees have just been announced:

Raheem Sterling
Bernardo Silva
Sergio Aguero
Virgil Van Dijk
Sadio Mane
Eden Hazard

Sterling's a shoe-in, imo.

if City wins the title then it's Sterling. If Liverpool then it's VVD.

Depends when the votes go in? I ask because i have no idea how it works.

If it's after the title is decided then i agree.

It's usually before the season ends, so if the title race goes to the last day it shouldn't have an impact.

It's a player vote so the players just fill out a form with their pick

PFA Young Player of the Year shortlist:

Trent Alexander-Arnold
David Brooks
Marcus Rashford
Bernardo Silva
Raheem Sterling
Declan Rice

Having Sterling and Bernardo on there just undermines the whole list. Who else is going to win if not those two?

It's so stupid. The cut-off age is 24 (since when was 24 considered young for a player?) and players can be on both shortlists. So actual young players never get nominated because senior players on the main list take their spot instead.

I've complained about the young player stuff before.

The age cut off should be way younger and quite frankly should be restricted to first year players.
