If only there was some kind of technology where you can replay an incident within seconds and help the referee make the right call...

What do you expect Klopp if you play Milner 4 games a week?

What a lame half this has been. Was so hyped before the game but now I'm considering playing some Assassin's Creed instead.

He kicked him in the ankles and didn't get any of the ball.
Of course it's a penalty.

City did well to survive the first 10 minutes. After that it has been quite an easy game for them. I think they would be happy with a point but they are creating better opportunities than Liverpool.
Liverpool looks out of gas. Might improve in the 2nd half but City would be surprised at how quickly they stopped pressing.
This pretty much also tells you why Klopp has won so little in his career. The way he asks his teams to press is not sustainable.

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
It's been boring. Klopp double teams City wingers with his FB + midfielder, allowing the trio to stay up, while Pep isn't sending Walker and Mendy forward to help their wingers and keeping them back for Pool trio not to wreck Stones/Laporte. The midfield has become almost non-existent due to having not many runners on the wings for City as their constantly double teamed which also cuts supply towards Aguero.

Liverpool looking out of energy. Both teams have been below par in final third.

As comfortable as City have looked for most of the half it should be mentioned they've barely created anything.
It's fine being able to withstand the pressure but it ultimately means little if you don't create chances yourself.

Mendy is such an awful player btw. Pep likes him because he doesn't have to play a traditional winger but man he is a brain dead player.

Yup, they've used possession as a defence, but haven't done too much got into some good places and seemed to have something going, but either Pool defenders dealt with it easily or City final ball is lacking.

I think Aguero was surprised Lovren actually kicked him like that so he got up asap not believing it to be real

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion Part III
what a shit half of football from the two most hyped teams in England
our midfield is only good at pressing and making that early pass to the font three otherwise they never contribute to anything else!
Keits is either unfit or a bit overwhelmed

I assume City are scared that Liverpool will turn on the heat again at any time. So possession is the best defence against that.
