And this was an actual good ref performance by La Liga standards.

Without that wondersave from Ter Stegen, Athletic would have won fair and square.
Barça looked sluggish and slow. Looked like they were all retirees.

It was. I still don't get why we have VAR in La Liga, when referees seem to fear it like a pest.

Yes, I bet Marcelo feels like he wasted his efforts now

Barca stringing dem bad games together right on schedule , if madrid beats them in those 2 clasicos, league is the teams to lose imo.

Barca are still 6 pts ahead. We'd need Sevilla to beat and Valladolid to manage a draw against them for us to be able to surpass them with a win. We are relying heavily on Sevilla now. We need them to win. Not many more tough grounds for Barca left

Marcelo would make me look like Ronaldo. Valverde knows Malcoms true level. I wouldn't put much stock into Malcoms performance v Marcelo. He would have been useless today. Barca needed an out and out winger. They were faaar too narrow

I know, what im getting at is knowing barca, when the pressure is on they are capable of dropping random games, all madrid has to do is keep up the same intensity for this month, close the gap to 3pts and wait for them drop points.
I like rm bench better so the starters will be much fresher down the stretch than theirs, and they aren't waiting for one player to decide things, its becoming more of a team effort finally which is why the comeback is coming together.

Very happy with Athletic's performance last night.
Just a month ago Garitano and his men were fighting relegation and fearful of Athletic's first ever inclusion into the much maligned Segunda; and now they put a performance of lions as they did and head on to FCB in San Mames.
Fortuitous.

Not gonna lie, I switched off after the second Eibar goal.
Sevilla are dead. They've played more games than everyone because of EL qualification (which started back in July). Banega, Sarabia, Andre Silva and Ben Yedder have played nearly every game. Sarabia's stopped trying because his contract situation hasn't been sorted yet and the fans are getting on his back despite his goals/assists. The Lazio tie in the EL comes at a bad time.
Oh well. At least they have Bryan Gil, aka the next best thing in Spanish football.

Barca gerting bailed out the ref after being dominated by Valladolid. Ref didn't even bother looking at VAR. This league is shit
